Call Of Duty Commercial Director's Live-Action Aladdin Movie Receives A Teaser Trailer

Disney's live-action Aladdin movie received a teaser trailer last night which you can see below. It doesn't show much, but you get a small peak at Iago the parrot, the Cave of Wonders, and tiny peak at the titular character and the iconic lamp.

The movie is directed by Guy Ritchie who made the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes films and Snatch, but in terms of his relation to the video game industry, we all know him as the director of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 commercial that Robert Downey Jr. was in for some reason.

Bethesda And West Virginia Partner For Tourism Campaign

The state of West Virginia has announced a partnership for an upcoming tourism campaign, and it's not exactly the company you'd expect: publisher Bethesda Softworks. With its the upcoming Fallout 76 taking place in "Almost Heaven," West Virginia saw it as a ripe opportunity to expand to a new audience.

“It’s finally time the rest of the world sees what a gem West Virginia is,” said West Virginia governor Jim Justice. “For years, I’ve been saying we have it all: beautiful scenery, the best people you could ask for and more. And now, we get to share a piece of that with people all over the world through the unique lens of this video game.”

While there's not a lot of detail yet about what will make up the campaign, the WV Tourism Office will be working with Bethesda to create both informational campaigns and invitations to visit the state.  For more information on the campaign, visit the state's tourism website.

Ryan Coogler Will Write And Direct The Next Black Panther Movie

It sounds like, Ryan Coogler, Black Panther's director, will once again stand at the helm for its highly anticipated sequel. Because of the film's success – even in a superhero saturated market it brought in 1.3 billion dollars – many suspected Coogler would continue on with the franchise, but until recently all information was being kept under wraps. Lucky for us, sources at The Hollywood Reporter indicate Coogler has settled on a deal for the next Black Panther film and production planning can get underway.

Black Panther tells the story of an African superhero on his path to becoming king of Wakanda, a super advanced and super secret realm. The movie gained both critical and popular success for its thrilling action and clever writing - deftly weaving together themes of family, gender, nationality, and race.  The movie ends with T'Challa, now king and Black Panther, revealing his country to the world; leaving the door wide open for a Black Panther 2.

With any luck, we can expect writing and production for the Black Panther sequel to begin next year.

EA Looking For Feedback On Command & Conquer Remaster And The Series' Future On PC

When Command & Conquer: Rivals was announced, fans were excited to see the real-time strategy series make a return. However, much disappointment came when it was revealed as a mobile game. Since then, EA has heard the criticism and desire to see the franchise return to PC. In a post on Reddit today, producer Jim Vessella confirmed that the team is working on ways to do just that.

"Following the reveal of Rivals, we heard you loud and clear: the Command & Conquer community also wants to see the franchise return to PC," he wrote. "And as a fan of C&C for over 20 years, I couldn’t agree more. With that in mind we’ve been exploring some exciting ideas regarding remastering the classic PC games, and already have the ball rolling on our first effort to celebrate the upcoming 25th Year Anniversary."

The post expresses that EA is looking into ways to remaster the classic PC games, but doesn't give any specifics. He did, however, open up the forum for fans to be a part of deciding exactly what the future will hold for Command & Conquer. "We are eager to hear your feedback to help influence our current thoughts for PC and what comes next," he expressed. "Over the next few weeks we’ll be talking to fans in a variety of ways. In the meantime, please share your thoughts here on the subreddit."

New Trailer For ‘Glass’ Pits Bruce Against The Beast

New Trailer For ‘Glass’ Pits Bruce Against The Beast

The latest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming Glass, which stars Samuel L. Jackson as the eponymous Mr. Glass, just launched and it reveals a bit more of what to expect from the director's twisted take on the superhero genre.

For those who haven’t seen Shyamalan’s critically well-received 2016 film, Split, spoilers: the new film features James McAvoy as a young man afflicted with multiple personalities who also has one final personality that is imbued with superhuman abilities, known as the Beast. At the end of Split, it is revealed that the film also takes place within the same universe as Shyamalan’s underappreciated film from 2000, Unbreakable which first introduced Samuel L. Jackson as the villainous mastermind Mr. Glass and Bruce Willis as the super-powered David Dunn.

Based on the new trailer, it seems the film will center on these three extraordinary individuals locked in an institution by a doctor (played by Sarah Paulson) who believes they are deluded in the belief that they have superpowers. With the mad genius he possesses, it seems Mr. Glass will forge an alliance with the Beast to escape, and then fight Willis’s David Dunn to prove to the world that supers do, in fact, exist. But you don't have to take my word for it, you can see the trailer below for yourself.
