Director Otto Bathurst has joined the ever-growing cast and crew of Showtime's upcoming Halo television series. Bathurst is notable for his work on Black Mirror's pilot episode "The National Anthem." He also helmed the first three episodes of BBC's Peaky Blinders, which each garnered general acclaim and earned him a BAFTA Television Craft Award for Best Director. His latest project was the action-packed Robin Hood film that came out last fall.
A release date for the Halo series has not been confirmed, and overall information on its development has been kept under wraps. While you wait for the eventual release of more Halo news, 343 Industries announced Halo: Infinite at last year's E3. Check out the trailer for the game here.

In what has become a break from the norm, Capcom is not releasing any post-launch DLC for Devil May Cry 5 with the exception of the free Bloody Palace update. Matt Walker, a producer on the game, announced the lack of plans in answer to a fan on Twitter.
The previous two Devil May Cry games, DmC: Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4, were both replete with costumes and weapons to buy post-launch, so it's nice to know in advance that what you're buying is all you're going to need going forward.

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee came out last November, but in case you missed it or finally have some time on your hands to give the game your attention, Nintendo has added a demo to the eShop.
Players can explore Viridian Forest, collect Pokémon, and battle trainers with either Pikachu or Eevee (the demo picks one at random). However, your progress in the demo does not transfer to the full title if you buy it.
For more on the game, check out Kyle's review as well as this episode of New Gameplay Today featuring the title.

The United States' Environmental Protection Agency has an educational flash game on its site called Recycle City Challenge. That in itself is not special. However, what is interesting is that when you clicked the Let's Get Started button, a familiar tune for Mario fans played.
Keen-eared listeners have noted that the song in the background is taken from Yoshi's Island DS. The song no longer plays in the flash game (having probably been removed) but we've heard it with our own ears, and there was no mistaking it was this tune:
The Verge reached out to the EPA for comment after the incident. Here's what the EPA told the publication:

The Untitled Goose Game from developer House House just slipped from its early 2019 release window. The window wasn't given a more concrete time frame to replace it. House House just says the game is coming "later 2019."
Untitled Goose Game looks to be a fun indie game that has you playing as said goose and causing trouble for people by stealing their things or generally being an obnoxious goose. Little details were given as to why the game is missing its target other than "circumstances beyond our control." The developers promise in the tweet announcing this that it will only serve as cause to make an even better game in the end, so we'll just have to wait and see when the game comes out later in 2019 for Switch, PC, and Mac.
You can read our preview of the game here as well or see what other indie games we're looking forward to this year.
