State of Decay 2 has steadily worked toward a better product since its rough launch earlier this year, and now Undead Labs is improving it even further with the Zedhunter pack that will be free to all State of Decay 2 owners.

The Zedhunter pack adds a new crossbow to take down zombies with minimal noise, as well as new melee weapons, consumables, and facilities to help keep the experience fresh. In addition, new gameplay improvements are being implemented.

Sea of Thieves is adding an Arena for players to take on rival crews. The brand new competitive multiplayer mode allows players to compete in fast-paced races to find treasure.

The Arena also adds a new tavern area and a new Trading Company. Players can also complete new goals, earn new rewards, and new ways to progress to Pirate Legend status.

Crackdown 3 Secures February Release Date, Original Crackdown Free Through November

Microsoft has announced that its oft-delayed Crackdown 3 finally has a release date. The explosive open-world action title is set to launch on February 15.

During its XO18 stream, Microsoft gave players a look at a new multiplayer mode that leans heavily on the environmental destruction the Crackdown 3 developers have touted since the initial reveal. In Wrecking Zone, destroying the city is one of the best ways to take down your opponents.

To celebrate this news, Microsoft announced that the original Crackdown will be offered free of charge to all players through November 30. Players can redeem their copy (with Xbox One X enhancements) through the Microsoft Store.

Xbox One Gets Mouse And Keyboard Support Next Week, Fortnite And Warframe Among First Games To Support

As previously announced, Microsoft is bringing mouse and keyboard support to Xbox One. While that September announcement simply told us "in coming weeks" as a timing window, we now have a much clearer picture as to when the support will be added to the console: next week.

Select titles will be enabled for Xbox Insiders, with more on the way. Fortnite will be one of the first titles to offer support for this input method, joining the previously announced Warframe. In addition, the following games are slated to support mouse and keyboard on Xbox One in future updates, with the first games adding support in this month:

Also, as previously reported, Microsoft is collaborating with hardware and peripheral manufacturer Razer as an exclusive partner for specially designed Xbox mice and keyboards. These new peripherals are created for living room or desktop setups and come equipped with an Xbox key. They also support the new dynamic lighting feature on Xbox One, which enables in-game lighting effects. These Xbox mice and keyboards will be formally introduced at CES in January.

Microsoft To Acquire InXile Entertainment And Obsidian Entertainment

During today's XO18 stream, Microsoft Studios announced its intent to acquire inXile Entertainment and Obsidian Entertainment. InXile most recently released The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep and is currently working on Wasteland 3, while Obsidian released Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire earlier this year.

InXile was founded in 2002 by Brian Fargo and has garnered a reputation for developing role-playing games. The studio has developed recent entries in the Bard's Tale series and Wasteland franchises. In addition, the developer put out Torment: Tides of Numenera in 2017. Wasteland 3 is scheduled for a 2019 release.

Obsidian Entertainment was founded in 2003 by several industry veterans from Black Isle Studios. The studio is known for developing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and the Pillars of Eternity series.

Winnie the Pooh is returning to the world of Kingdom Hearts with the upcoming third mainline entry. The lovable Pooh Bear stars in today's new trailer shown during Microsoft's XO18 presentation.

In addition, the new XO18 trailer shows new hints of Master Xehanort and Organization XIII's recent activities. Attendees of XO18 are able to play a demo featuring the Hercules and Toy Story worlds.

Kingdom Hearts III launches on January 29 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Jump Force, the latest anime crossover fighting game, has shown off the super-powered versions of Vegeta and Frieza for the first time.

The footage debuted at XO18 is the Jump Force debut of SSGSS (A.K.A. Super Saiyan Blue) Vegeta and Golden Frieza. While in these modes, they can use their most powerful special moves. In addition, fans got to see the first footage of SSGSS Goku in Jump Force.

Deep Silver and 4A Games have announced the Metro Exodus Spartan Collector's Edition. This collector's edition is limited to 4,000 units and includes a premium Artyom statue and several other collectibles.

The statue stands at 10.5 inches and features Artyom fighting off a watchman. In addition, the package includes a Spartan Order dog tag, collectible postcards, and Spartan Order patches. The collector's edition ships in a giant barrel-shaped package based on in-game barrels. The collector's edition can be purchase with or without the game. If you choose to include the game with the package, you can choose to include the Aurora limited edition, which comes in a steelbook case and features an art book and the Metro Exodus expansion pass.

The standalone collector's edition (no game included) costs $150, while the version bundled with the Aurora limited edition of Metro Exodus costs $235.

Forza Horizon 4's First Expansion Takes Players To Fortune Island

Forza Horizon 4's first expansion has been announced. Fortune Island whisks players away to the remote northern reaches of the British Isles.

Weather plays a big role in Fortune Island, as extreme conditions bring about lightning storms, dangerous cliffside dirt roads, and a gorgeous backdrop of aurora borealis as players hunt for hidden treasure.

Fortune Island launches on Xbox One and PC on December 13. The DLC is included with the Expansions Bundle, which grants access to two expansions for a reduced cost of $35. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or the Ultimate Add-Ons Bundle will get the expansion for no additional charge.
