Approximately 4,000 Lego Bricks Make Up This Life-Size Borderlands Claptrap

about X hours ago from

With Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel out tomorrow, now is the perfect time to remember why we love (or hate) Claptrap. The annoying robot greeted us at the start of our first Borderlands adventure, and he’s slated to play a bigger role in the third title.

YouTuber ZaziNombies (clever!) shows off his creation in the video below. He used lighting for the end of Claptrap’s antenna and his eye, Bionicle pieces for the arms, and a large amount of yellow. He measures 39.5 inches tall on his base.

“Continual upgrades to the DRIVECLUB servers are building a steady increase in performance, meaning that we're getting more and more players connected,” Evolution writes on the Driveclub Facebook page. “The next server update is coming within 24 hours and will mean we can start to switch on more of the online features, so that you will be able to play more of DRIVECLUB online.”

No specific details are available about timing, which features will be re-enabled, or the way forward from here. “We are sorry that we don't have more concrete news to share right now, but please be patient,” the post continues. We will have more information for you tomorrow.”

Kazunori Yamauchi: Gran Turismo 7 'In 2015 Or 2016'

about X hours ago from

Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi says that fans can expect Gran Turismo 7 "in 2015 or 2016" on the PlayStation 4.

In an interview with GamesTM, Yamauchi says that the new system should pave the way for a better game. "PS3 was much, much more difficult," he said. "The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference."

Yamauchi didn't dive into the feature set of GT 7, but it's ambitious. "For GT 7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn't do in GT 6," he said. "We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it's going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016."

Sony And Evolution Considering Compensation Over Driveclub Launch Woes

Driveclub’s launch has been anything but smooth, with the game facing significant server issues since its October 7 release. The problems resulted in server downtime, the removal of features, and the indefinite delay of the PlayStation Plus edition.

In response to a question from a fan on Twitter, game director Paul Rustchynsky says the studio is considering “all options.” This includes compensation for purchasers of the game.

We’ve reached out to Sony for more information on the status of Driveclub’s servers and restoration of missing features. We’ll update should we receive a response. For more on Driveclub, check out our review.

Zen Pinball Butters Us Up This Week With Two Sweet South Park Pinball Tables

Earlier this month, Zen Studios announced a collaboration with South Park Studios to bring two tables to its Zen Pinball platform. Today, we get our first look at silver salty balls.

The first table, South Park Super Sweet Pinball is a fan service-filled experience that includes nods to a number of classic episodes. The visitors, Terrence and Philip, Sexual Harrassment Panda, Chef, Sarcastiball, and more make appearances on the table. Oh, and watch out for ManBearPig.

The second features the loveable goof Butters. Based on the episode starring Butters (along with the terrible and amusing theme song), this table of course also features Professor Chaos. Of course, no villain is complete without heroes to thwart him. Mysterion, The ***, and the rest of the team shows up.

The two-pack will be out this week for $4.99 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Vita, PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Amazon devices.
