Here's Link's Mechanical Steed From The First Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack

This morning, Nintendo of America released on Twitter art of Link riding an equine-themed motorcycle. The art depicts a vehicle in the first paid DLC pack for Mario Kart 8.

“The Master Cycle is part of the first DLC pack for #MK8 and has plenty of horse power,” the company writes. It looks like Link’s chopper is adorned with a Hylian shield and Triforce crests, taking the most apparent inspiration from Skyward Sword's watercolor palate.

Link’s new wheels are only a part of the upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC, due out in November. Read here to find out what else is coming in that pack and the later Animal Crossing DLC.

Driveclub Getting Another Update In The Next Day

Evolution Studios and Sony are still working to get Driveclub (our review) up to full operation. A new update touting several improvements should be available in the next 24 hours.

Sony hopes the update and related server upgrades will improve performance, as well as functionality for clubs and multiplayer gaming. Unfortunately, the diagnostics that are planned also have the potential to bump you offline. Evolution says it will attempt to minimize impact to players.

“We're glad that more of you are getting to play online but we are sorry that many players are still having a hard time getting connected,” the developer writes on its Facebook page. “We are working around the clock to improve connectivity and will keep you informed as we continue to make progress.”

Anita Sarkeesian Cancels Utah State Presentation Following Threats Of Mass Shooting

Feminist Frequency founder and pop culture critic Anita Sarkeesian was scheduled to speak last night at Utah State University. The presentation was canceled shortly before the event in the wake of a shooting threat.

Sarkeesian says she canceled the talk not because of the threats, but because the university would not take certain security precautions. According to the Standard-Examiner, which reported on the incident yesterday, the email threat warned of “the deadliest school shooting in American history.”

“To be clear: I didn't cancel my USU talk because of terrorist threats,” she said in a statement on Twitter. “I canceled because I didn’t feel the security measures were adequate.”

Fans Fly Through The Air Like Evel Knievel In GTA V Stunt Video

about X hours ago from

TheGalleTasHD's latest Grand Theft Auto V stunt montage shows motorcycles and cars driving up walls, rail sliding on bridges, flying through the air great distances, and landing in improbable locations. I spent a fair amount of time in Grand Theft Auto IV and V lining up tricks with friends, but our results pale in comparison to the tricks that Hiddenriot achieves in this video.

I don't know if Hiddenriot is using cheats to enable greater flying distances – I have never launched a car that far – but regardless of the means used, the results are impressive.

What is the craziest stunt you have performed in GTA V?
