NBA 2K15 Patch Attempts To Fix MyPark And Other Online Functions

2K Sports recently rolled out a patch for NBA 2K15 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The purpose of the update is, in part, to fix the problematic MyPark and other online modes plagued with server issues.

We noted the online problems in our review of NBA 2K15, mentioning that they are a carry-over from last year’s version. The update also fixes problems with the free agency period, Doris Burke’s rapid hustle to an on-court interview, and a problem with re-watching 2KTV episodes.

Destiny’s Next Iron Banner Event Requires A Level 20 Fireteam Leader

about X hours ago from

Destiny’s Iron Banner event was intended to place significantly more weight on the power and protection of your weapons and armor. The end result didn’t match the expectations though, with the experience feeling a bit anemic.

In response, Bungie says that the next event will place more importance on the quality of your gear. You’ll need a fireteam leader of at least level 20 in order to enter an Iron Banner player-vs-player match. Lower level players can join too, but they will likely face stiff competition on the basis of gear quality.

Bungie is also addressing the issue of players quitting during Iron Banner matches. Next time out, you’ll be rewarded a “Medallion of Iron” for a loss. Each will be converted to reputation upon your next victory. This should get players to finish out the fight.

What Video Game Character’s Voice Do You Hate?

about X hours ago from

With high-caliber voice talent and advanced recording technology, the quality of voice acting in video games is at an all-time high. Gone are the days of Jill sandwich and fill-your-dark-soul-with-light blunders. In their place, we have performances like Troy Baker’s nuanced turn as Joel in The Last of Us, and Melissa Hutchinson’s bold take on Clementine in Telltale’s The Walking Dead.

But even today, sometimes you can’t help but hate a character’s voice. No matter what they say or how they deliver it, every time these characters speak it just sounds like nails on a chalkboard. That’s not to say the voice actor performing the voice is bad, just that you don’t like their take on that particular character.
