Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Sets Its Sights On 2016

A good sniper knows how to lay low until the right moment. That's exactly what publisher/developer City Interactive (also known as CI Games) is doing for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, which is the series' debut on the new systems. The company is taking its time with the game, and it's slated for a release in the first half of 2016.

Despite its seemingly far-off release date, City has already teased some game details: It's set in modern-day Eastern Europe, with the titular character in the middle of a conflict between three factions.

Perhaps responding to criticism from gamers such as Tim Turi regarding Ghost Warrior 2's excessive hand-holding, the upcoming Sniper title promises more freedom in how you go about your missions, stressing non-linear play. Taking a guess by looking at the game's first art (above), it looks like you'll have the help of a combat drone to complete your objectives.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD Finally Landing On Vita Today

The HD remake of Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is arriving on Vita today, giving players a chance to once again lead a revolution against a cartoonishly monstrous corporation. The version adds graphical enhancements, as well as "tightened controls," according to Oddworld Inhabitants.

Vita owners who have been looking forward to this one have had to wait quite a while. The Vita remake was announced nearly three years ago, alongside a planned release window of Q2 2012. A PlayStation 3 remake was announced at the same time for the same release window, and it came out Dec. 24, 2012.

At any rate, it's finally coming later today. Players control a one-legged Gabbit named Munch as he hops through 3D worlds (a first for the Oddworld series) or tears along in his wheelchair. Munch has to rescue creatures from the vile Vykkers Labs, a company that delights in turning animals into fabric softener.

Another Halo: The Master Chief Collection Patch Rolls Out

The patch also improves roster, parties, custom games, achievements that still weren’t unlocking properly, and more. Halo: Combat Evolved has received a number of changes to its multiplayer, including improved hit detection.

One control scheme in Halo 2: Anniversary and Halo 4 (Legacy) is not functioning properly. Applying that setup results in the default scheme. This will be addressed in a future patch.
