At a BAFTA LA Masterclass session, Cloud Imperium's Chris Roberts announced the release road map for Star Citizen – including when he expects commercial launch.
The game has different parts to it such as an FPS component, ship combat/racing (Arena Commander), single-player/co-op campaign (Squadron 42), etc., and these will come out in various forms as you can see in the slide below. If everything goes according to plan, the whole thing should come together by the end of 2016.
"Next year, probably towards the end of it, is when everything will be all together in one package with most of the content there," said Roberts during his presentation. "Really from the end of this year to the end of next year, it's really going to be a big content drive and fine-tuning and honing drive."

GameInformer News Former NASCAR developer Eutechnyx has officially confirmed the transfer of rights to new holder DMi Games, and as proud of what it did for the series, even U.K.-based Eutechnyx admits that bringing development back to the U.S. could be good for the brand.
"NASCAR is all-American and benefits from a strong U.S. influence in development, marketing, and production," said Darren Jobling, Eutechnyx CEO. "The proposal made by DMi, to be run out of Charlotte, NC best suited Eutechnyx and NASCAR's ambitions for the future of the franchise..."
Blake Davidson, NASCAR vice president, licensing and consumer products, agreed. "Establishing [DMi] in Charlotte, a central location for the NASCAR industry, will only strengthen this great partnership."

GameInformer News YouTube channel andrewmfilms has taken on the playground argument of a new age: Who would win in a fight? A Vault Dweller or Dovahkiin?
I won't spoil the ending of the Fallout versus The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim video, but know that these two immediately dislike each other, and only one can leave with all their limbs attached.
The short is directed by Andrew McMurry starring Seth McMurry and Joe Ochterbeck as a Vault Dweller and Dovahkiin respectively. You can also find a behind-the-scenes video about how the short came together here.

Perfect World and Cryptic Studios today announced the pending arrival of the newest and largest expansion to date for Neverwinter. The new content is said to be on target for release in early 2015.
Elemental Evil expands the number of classes out to eight with the addition of the paladin, a holy warrior who can choose between a healing and tanking build. In addition, the expansion pushes the level cap out from 60 to 70, ensuring that even established adventurers have something to do. To surmount those new levels, players will have access to a number of new quests, and be rewarded with new feats and character abilities.
For longtime D&D players, one of Neverwinter’s more interesting features is its ties to the ongoing storyline being played out in the new 5th edition of the tabletop game. In keeping with that goal, Neverwinter: Elemental Evil is being released to coincide with the broader fiction rolling out in the tabletop game in the coming months.
