GameInformer News A programmer on Donkey Kong Country, a character designer on Banjo-Kazooie, and other former Rare members have formed new studio.
The studio is called Playtonic Games, and though the new studio has a website, there isn't much else to report on just yet. There is the teaser image you see above with the text, "Who's hiding in there?" and a presumed code name for a yet to be announced game called Project Ukulele. The only other element of the website close to a clue about Playtonic Games' game is the following paragraph:
Playtonic’s the name, and fun games, unique characters and absolutely-frickin-amazing worlds to explore are our game. Or at least they will be, once we eventually get around to releasing our first project instead of faffing around on WordPress.

GameInformer News We've all experienced moment as kids when the parents exercise their dictatorial power, reaching for the power button and killing your progress in a game. Their hearts may be in the right place, but it's not always a considerate action. This is especially true during online games where a disappearing player can kill the competitive balance, which is why someone in the Riot forums decided to reach out to parents of League of Legends players with an open letter.
"While it is admirable that you are teaching children some responsibility to schedules, please stop neglecting to teach them responsibility to other people," the post from Ice Weasel X reads. "Unless your child is playing a custom game, his actions will permanently affect the statistics of up to nine other people. Don't enforce behavior that involves disregarding other people. Do you want your child being callous to people in face-to-face situations too?"
Fair play. Your move, parents.
