Report: Mortal Kombat X Delayed Again For Last-Gen Systems?

The last-gen versions of Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 were delayed this spring, pushing their release into this summer. Now, there is some evidence that the game may be delayed once again.

Kotaku heard from GameStop employees last week that the title would be delayed [Full Disclosure: Game Informer is owned by GameStop], and this was seemingly confirmed on the retailer's online website, which now lists a December 31, 2015 release date for the fighter (click here for the PS3 entry).

High Voltage Software is porting the title for the last-gen systems.

Batman Beyond, The Dark Knight Returns Costumes Added To Arkham Knight

Batman: Arkham Knight is just a month away, releasing on June 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Next to the two collector's editions, the season pass, and pre-order bonuses, it's becoming difficult to figure out where to start with this release. Today, a new pre-order option appeared on Arkham Knight's Steam page, giving players costumes inspired by Batman Beyond and The Dark Knight Returns for reserving the game early.

One pre-order bonus gives you the Red Hood story pack, the season pass brings the Season of Infamy and Batgirl missions, the collector's editions and today's DLC offer new skins. Warner Bros. is spreading in-game Batman content all over the place. Hopefully, for those of you that want it all, but don't want to jump through hoops to get it, most of this content should be sold through the in-game store at some point after the game's release.

Darkstalkers II: Deathinitive Edition For PS4 Pops Up On Retail Site

Publisher Nordic Games has already confirmed a definitive edition for Darkstalkers II, and today one more nugget of info may have been released.

Amazon has a listing and apparent cover art for the game on PS4, entitled, Darkstalkers II: Deathinitive Edition. The game has a December 31, 2015, release date. That's a Thursday and not the normal Tuesday release day, so it may be placeholder. There is no Xbox One listing.

We've reached out to Nordic for confirmation and further details, and will update this story if we hear back.

Where Is Our Splatoon Review?

Where Is Our Splatoon Review?

Splatoon has been a major focus for Nintendo in 2015, and with the release near, the embargo for review coverage has lifted. Over the past couple of weeks, I've played Splatoon extensively, but we've decided to hold off for a bit before publishing my review.

As Nintendo has advertised during its Nintendo Direct segments, Splatoon features a heavy emphasis on online play, and we feel as though we need to test the experience our readers will be getting when the game officially launches on Friday. Without waiting for Friday to come, however, that is impossible, so we've decided to put the brakes on my review until the game is out in North America and we have the chance to try it out under those conditions.

While we may be waiting to give my full impressions, I can tell you that I've been enjoying my time with Splatoon. The online play is fast-paced and extremely fun, but the real surprise is the single-player mode. There are some hitches in the formula that leave me scratching my head, however. If you want to read more about my full thoughts, you'll be able to read my complete review soon! In the meantime, you can also check out Ben's hands-on preview with Splatoon.

Xbox Live Marketplace Lists May Release Date For Halo 3: On Xbox One

According to its listing on the Xbox.com marketplace, Halo 3: ODST remastered for Xbox One is only a few days away.

You can find the listing here, as well as a screenshot of listing above. It shows that the game will be available on Friday May, 29 and will be 8.1 GB to download.

Following the botched online multiplayer launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 promised it would give the Halo 3 follow-up campaign, ODST, the same remaster treatment and make it available for free to Master Chief Collection owners. We've known the game wouldn't be too far off, and even that it would release in May, but this is the first hint of a solid release date.

Star Wars: Battle Pod Could Be Coming To A Living Room Near You

Bandai Namco's arcade game Star Wars: Battle Pod caught our attention when it was unveiled earlier this year. At the time, we weren't able to direct would-be pilots to where they needed to go to play it themselves. Today, we've learned that it could be as simple as looking in your house – provided you have the cash.

(Please visit the site to view this media)

The company is making the game available to consumers. Starting June 18, you can preorder your own 1,200-pound unit for the cool cost of $35,000. If that's not enough, Bandai Namco is also releasing special Premium Editions (below), which are themed to either the Rebel Alliance of Mr. Vader himself. For $100,000, you also get special carpeting (ooh!), a specially bound owner's manual (ooh!!), special leather seats (ooh!!!), and your special name on an engraved plate and in the game's credits (OOH!). Shipping and handling, unfortunately, are not included in the price.

Next The Witcher 3 Patch Rolling Out In Europe On PS4, Text Size Remains Unchanged

The good news is that a new patch for The Witcher 3, 1.03, is rolling out in Europe and a number of other countries on PlayStation 4. North America isn't included yet, but if it's an increase in the text size you're looking for, you still have some time to wait.

Patch 1.03 includes many of the same things that the recent PC patch did. It improves the game's performance in some areas, corrects the ability to shoot bolts at friendlies, and deals with an infinite loading bug during the Wandering the Dark quest. It also corrects a problem in which gas clouds could spontaneously combust (a little known Witcher problem).

Here Are All Of The Tracks Confirmed To Appear In The Guitar Hero Live Song List So Far

With Guitar Hero making its big return this year, Activision is coming out swinging with the songs available at release. Back in April, the publisher told us that it will feature "hundreds" of songs at launch in the GHTV mode of the game alone, and with "Tracklist Tuesday" making it a weekly event to learn more about what we'll be shredding along to when Guitar Hero Live releases, the setlist is shaping up to feature a diverse collection of songs from a wide array of artists and genres.

If you haven't kept up with all of the announcements, you can check out the updated official soundtrack to this point below. The songs that are a part of the newest batch of songs have been made bold to easily spot what's new.

Activision and FreeStyle Games have not clarified which mode each of the following songs will be available for, but these are the songs that will be playable at launch. If you'd like to learn more about how the newest Guitar Hero plays, you can check out our hands-on impressions.

More Final Fantasy XV Information Coming On June 4

While there won't be a major Final Fantasy XV E3 presence this year, director Hajime Tabata will be responding to fans next week. Square Enix has announced the date and time for the next episode of Active Time Report.

Tabata and global marketing manager Akio Ofuji will be back to offer another development update. In previous episodes, we learned about plans to update the Episode Duscae demo

It was also during Active Time Report that Tabata shared that the game won't be making a splash at E3. The program is fully subtitled, so you can understand everything, even if you don't speak Japanese.
