Batman: Arkham Knight Gets Catwoman Story DLC In October

The parade of Batman: Arkham Knight DLC marches on. Today marks the release of the Tumbler Batmobile from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy (part of the season pass or a la carte for $1.99). You can also grab the original Arkham Asylum bat suit free.

Also today, you can race along two tracks based on the recent Batman films. Coming next week, you can grab the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2, which has challenge maps for Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman. There are also more Batmobile challenges included.

Nightwing gets his time in the spotlight next week, too. The GCPD Lockdown story DLC pits Batman’s first protégé against the Penguin, as the villain tries to bust out of GCPD lockup.

Sword Coast Legends Delayed Until Next Month On PC, Console Versions Land In 2016

N-Space’s foray into the world of Dungeons & Dragons needs a bit more time before release. Sword Coast Legends was previously scheduled for release next week, but will instead be arriving next month.

In an attempt to bring the tabletop experience to the digital realm, n-Space and Digital Extremes have created a cooperative experience that also supports a Dungeon Master. Players can create their own adventures for their friends or follow those built into the game.

The PC, Mac, and Linux versions are now scheduled for October 20. Those that pre-ordered can get in on the second “head start” phase, which is underway. Additionally, those that jump in early will have access to the Rage of Demons DLC module at no additional cost.

System Shock: Enhanced Edition Available Now On GoG

While System Shock 2 has been available for contemporary PC and Mac hardware for a number of years, its predecessor hadn’t been given the spit and polish treatment. That changes today, as the enhanced edition of Irrational Games’ and Looking Glass Studios' groundbreaking title lands on GoG today.

Originally released in 1994, System Shock laid the groundwork for choice in video games. Its own sequel, the Deus Ex series, and later the BioShock franchise expanded and evolved this concept.

Reader Discussion: What Is Your Favorite Video Game Horse?

about X hours ago from

When they appear in games, horses often play the role of unsung hero. In 2015, two of the biggest releases have seen us spending a ton of time with our trusty mounts, so we want to know which video game horse is your all time favorite.

For me, I've been riding around on D-Horse a lot lately, as I've been pouring my hours into Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, but I'll always have a soft spot for Epona from the Legend of Zelda series and Ixion from Final Fantasy X.

Are you a big fan of Roach from the Witcher, or are you more on the side of Odin from Final Fantasy XIII? Maybe you prefer a horse from further back in gaming history, like Agro from Shadow of the Colossus or Rapidash from Pokémon. Either way, let us know what your favorite horse is and why.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is getting reinforcements in the near future. Along with several characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney announced at its D23 expo that characters from The Good Dinosaur are coming to Disney Infinity 3.0 soon. Players will be able to buy an action figure of Arlo, the main human character in the movie.

The last trailer released for The Good Dinosaur gave us a look at the bond formed between the dinosaurs and Arlo, but left one big question dangling: Are the dinosaurs going to speak? The newest international trailer answers that question, showing numerous dinosaurs speaking English.

You can check out the one-minute trailer below. The Good Dinosaur opens in theaters on November 25.

about X hours ago from

Microsoft has always found ways to dial up the Halo hype as release approaches. For Halo 5: Guardians, that takes the form of a Serial-style radio drama called Hunt the Truth.

The first season aired earlier this year, and featured the investigative journalism of fictional reported Benjamin Giraud. The character was tasked with an ONI puff piece and ended up uncovering the dirty history of the UNSC’s most revered soldiers.

The cast includes Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Alan Tudyk (Firefly), and others.

NBA Live 16 Demo Misses The Likeness Layup

The NBA Live 16 demo is out, and it contains some hilarious examples of player likenesses gone very wrong.

Screens of players from the demo take significant racial and cosmetic liberties that make you wonder what the developer was thinking.

Luke Babbitt of the New Orleans Pelicans gets hit with the double wammy. Not only is Babbitt white in real life, but he also sports a healthy mane of hair – neither of which are depicted in the game apparently.

Dungeon Defenders II Comes To PS4 This Month In Paid Pre-Alpha

about X hours ago from

Both Sony and Microsoft are now experimenting with versions of early access. This morning, Trendy announced that eventual free-to-play Dungeon Defenders II will be arriving on PlayStation 4 this month in paid pre-alpha.

Dungeon Defenders II, an action-oriented tower defense game, has been in early access on PC since the end of 2014. This marks Sony’s first major push into pre-release payments, as those that want in on Trendy’s pre-alpha phase will need to purchase currency bundles.

Trendy isn’t maintaining parity with the PC version. Some features will arrive first on console, including controller support and split-screen. Others will hit PC early access before making their way to PS4.
