Tekken 7 Will Be Punching Its Way To PlayStation 4

The ninth installment in the Tekken fighting game series (if you count the Tag Tournament series) will be headed to Sony's PlayStation 4 and it will feature some exclusive content.

During Sony’s press conference at the Paris Games Week, Tekken series Executive Producer Katsuhiro Harada took the stage to announce that Tekken 7 will be coming to the PS4. Harada stated that the game would feature a dramatic and over the top progression to the series' storyline. In addition, the console port of the arcade game would be an enhanced version that would feature special content. See that trailer for yourself below, which looks to be a love story about Heihachi.

LEGO Reveals Ghostbusters Firehouse HQ

LEGO has scared up an appropriately spooky set just in time for Halloween. Today the company gave miniature enthusiasts their first look at its Ghostbusters Firehouse.

The 4,634-piece two-story firehouse is equipped with a laboratory, living quarters, and containment unit. These cutting edge ghost busting facilities come at a cost — LEGO plans to sell the set for $350.

For that price, LEGO has packaged several figures with the firehouse — Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, Zombie Driver, and Library Ghost. Buyers will also receive Slimer, Pink Ghost, and Blue Ghost when the set comes out in January 2016.

Report: Street Fighter V Punches In February Release Date

A report has surfaced out of Paris Games Week that Capcom has nailed down a date for Street Fighter V. If accurate, you can join the fight in February.

Eurogamer Portugal reported in a since removed story that the game has a February 16 release date. The story also included confirmation of Dhalsim, real-money transactions for "fight cash," and six additional fighters to be added during 2016. We’ve reached out to the publisher for confirmation and will update should we receive a response.

Capcom has planned a number of beta periods for its PlayStation 4 and PC fighter. The first attempt was aborted due to problems, but Capcom took a mulligan and things seemed to improve for the next.

The Internet has been abuzz with praise and hate for the tattooed look of the Joker that will hit the silver screen next summer's Suicide Squad movie. The new issue of Empire magazine takes a closer look at the film, and gives us our first look at Joker's full getup, which includes Arkham-labeled sweatpants.

In the magazine, actor Jared Leto dives into the mind games of playing Joker. “There was definitely a period of … detachment,” Leto says. “I took a pretty deep dive. But this was a unique opportunity and I couldn’t imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games. But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my prick hole.”

The Joker is briefly featured in Suicide Squad's debut trailer. Let us know what you think of Joker's look and what you've seen of Leto's performance in the comments section below. Suicide Squad opens on August 6.

Dungeons & Dragons Classics Back For More Adventures On GOG

Seven retro Dungeons & Dragons PC games are now available on GOG, making them available for players who previously lacked access to the original releases or the inclination to get them running on modern machines. The games are part of the Ravenloft, Krynn, and Dark Sun series.

Dungeons & Dragons: The Ravenloft Series includes Strahd's Possession and Stone Prophet. Dungeons & Dragons: Krynn Series includes Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn, and The Dark Queen of Krynn. Finally, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Sun Series includes Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager. Each of the collections is available DRM-free for $9.99 on GOG.

Our TakePersonally, I have a hard time going back to a lot of games from this era, but it's great that they're being made available to a new audience.

Here’s How Xbox One Backward Compatibility DLC Will Work

Microsoft has long said that DLC will work for backward compatible games. With the New Xbox One Experience launching on November 12, we dug into exactly how that will function.

In order to access DLC, you’ll need to either purchase it on Xbox.com or via your Xbox 360 console. When asked about purchasing directly on Xbox One via an emulated dashboard and store, we were told that isn’t happening, at least not yet.

“Right now, Backward Compatibility does not emulate the Xbox 360 store and new Xbox 360 games can be purchased on your Xbox 360 or via Xbox.com,” a representative told us via email. We confirmed that this is universal, and all DLC will be supported and automatically downloaded to your Xbox One along with supported games.

Super Mario Maker Update Adds Checkpoints, More Courses Next Week

Nintendo is beefing up Super Mario Maker next week with new features and more courses. The free update will go live on November 4, giving creators new options to torture their friends with diabolical death machines.

The update allows players to add checkpoints to existing levels (or create new ones that include them). You’ll also be able to create status-dependent power-ups. For instance, a fire flower block can be set to eject a super mushroom if Mario is small.

Report: Driveclub Adding Bikes

PEGI – the European ratings board – briefly put up a listing for something called Driveclub Bikes. Does this mean that we'll be racing on two wheels in Evolution Studios' title?

The listing has been taken down (but not before videogamer.com took a screen capture), and it's unknown if this is some kind of standalone expansion for Driveclub or a whole new game.

We expect to know more today during Sony's Paris Games Week press conference at noon central. Watch it here.
