Team Sonic Racing Adds Villainous Team Eggman Squad

Sega has announced a new team of racers for the upcoming Team Sonic Racing. Team Eggman features three villains from various points of Sonic's history. Head of Sonic Team and Team Sonic Racing producer Takashi Iizuka confirmed to us in November that there are 15 playable racers in the game, meaning this is the final character announcement ahead of its May release.

Each team features three roles: speed, technique, and power. Dr. Eggman heads up the team as the technique character, while Metal Sonic fills in the speed role, and Zavok, who debuted in Sonic Lost World on Wii U, is the team's power character.

You can see the full roster below.

Carlton And Floss Emotes Removed From Forza Horizon 4

The Carlton and Floss avatar emotes have been removed from Forza Horizon 4 with its latest update, which is likely a response to the growing concern of lawsuits surrounding dance moves in games.

Aside from bug fixes and improvements to Forza Horizon 4, the update's patch notes briefly mention how these emotes were pulled, though no reason is given.

These removals could be a sign of Microsoft wanting to stay out of potential legal battles. Epic Games has been facing its share of lawsuits relating to dance moves in Fortnite. Rapper 2 Milly, for example, filed legal action over the Milly Rock dance used in Fortnite. Russel Horning (Backpack Kid) and Fresh Prince's Alfonso Ribeiro also are suing Epic Games over their dances' portrayals in the game.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Teaser Trailer Is A Tourist Trap

Like Cars 2 or an episode of The Brady Bunch, the only logical step for the current Spider-Man movie series started by Spider-Man: Homecoming is to travel abroad. Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 5, and Peter Parker and his classmates are heading out on a European vacation.

Today's teaser isn't just a summer fling, however, as Spider-Man is called into action by Nick Fury and Mysterio to battle The Elementals.

The Pinkertons And Rockstar Games Are Fighting Over Red Dead Redemption II

The Pinkertons have proven to be the foe in many cultural works throughout the decades: Deadwood, A People's History Of The United States, BioShock Infinite, and so on. Today, it appears that historied company is taking on Take-Two and Rockstar Games over the game's inclusion of Pinkerton agents in Red Dead Redemption II.

Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations sent a cease & desist letter to Take-Two last week and have demanded royalties, claiming Rockstar was unauthorized to feature the Pinkerton brand in the game. Take-Two has fired back, countering that the inclusion of the agency in the game falls under fair use.

Rockstar cites Red Dead Redemption II's historical setting, as well as the Pinkerton Agency's being featured in a plethora of cultural works throughout years as evidence. "[Pinkerton] cannot use trademark law to own the past and prevent creators from including historical references to Pinkerton agents in depictions of the American West," Take-Two asserts in its filing.

10 Cloverfield Lane Director Slated To Direct Uncharted Movie

Another director is once again attached to Sony's attempt to bring Nathan Drake and pals to the big screen. After Shawn Levy's departure from the project, Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) has stepped up to take on the adaptation, according to a report from Variety.

The adaptation has no release or even production date. Tom Holland is still reported to star as young Nathan Drake but given that the press tour for Spider-Man: Far From Home hasn't started, we imagine this movie's release is a long way away.

While you wait, why not watch Allan Ungar's fantastic fan film starring Nathan Fillion as Nathan Drake?
