Buzz Lightyear’s catchphrase may be “To infinity and beyond,” but it’s doubtful he ever envisioned a beyond that involved ravenous deathclaws. A new Fallout 4 mod allows players to dress a certain companion up as the famous space ranger.
Posted by Nexus Mods user Sorenova, the mod allows players to make Paladin Danse, the Brotherhood of Steel soldier, change his power armor color scheme to the familiar green, white, and purple mix. Players must have Danse currently enabled as their companion, acquire the new set from a power armor station aboard the Prydwen, and trade with Danse. Much like equipping goggles or a bandana to Dogmeat, the player simply needs to select the gear as Danse’s primary equipment.
User Sorenova added on his Nexus Mods post that he encourages other modders and players to create other mods, videos, or other content without his expressed permission. If you want to read about the making of Fallout 4, check out Andrew Reiner’s extensive coverage here.

Movies based on video games have rarely (if ever) turned out well. But what is the best one?
Prompted by a recent feature where we talked to Remedy's Sam Lake about the film version of Max Payne, readers commented about video games and the movies they have inspired.
There are plenty to choose from – Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, Hitman (both versions), Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros., Prince of Persia, etc., but which one stands out for you?

The port of the PC version of Final Fantasy VII to PlayStation 4's (not the remake) Trophies have appeared online, which could point to a nearby release.
The Trophies are fairly straight-forward, and overlap heavily with the recently released Steam version of the game's Steam Achievements. Trophies include Fledgling Summoner - Use a summon Materia in battle, Breaking New Ground - Use a Limit Break, and Won't You be My Valentine? - Have Vincent join your party just to name a few. The game received an mistaken October release date back in June, but since then, we haven't heard any updates about when the game will see release.
You can head over to exophase see the full list.

Popular walkthrough website GameFAQs.com is holding a best game ever poll, which prompted someone online to create a tool to help video game fans figure out they're personal favorite game of all time.
It's a time-consuming endeavor (I stopped doing it at about 30% in order to write up this story) but it's an interesting, often difficult exercise in selecting your favorite games. You can head here to try it yourself. Basically, it takes all 128 games featured on GameFAQs best game ever poll, and pits each one against one another asking you to select your preference. Sometimes (based on your personal preference) the winner is easy, sometimes it's a much more difficult selection. Obviously, not every game is featured on the list, but I bet many, if not all of your favorites, are.
According to its creator, the sorter can take between 127 and 448 "battles" in order to select one final favorite, which is why it has the potential to take some time. I had done about 200 "battles" and was only at about 30%, but fully plan on completing the survey to see which game comes out on top. I'm curious to see if it will differ from my typical favorite game of all time answer, which has been The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time since the first time I beat Ganon with the Master Sword.

As technology moves forward, the gap between handheld and console gaming is getting smaller. Which one do you prefer?
Obviously, some experiences will only be available on console, and those are great, but on the occasion where the two versions of a game are similar, which has your preference? In those occasions, I tend to prefer handheld. Games like Guacamelee and Sound Shapes I played on Vita, and I've been waiting to play Axiom Verge on on Vita, though it did mean I wasn't able to play it this year. The same can be said for this year's You Must Build a Boat. There was no way I was playing that game anywhere but my iPhone.
What about you? Will you always take a giant screen over portability? Let us know in the comments below.
