Hilariously Botched Just Cause 3 Plane Takeoff Captured In Gif

about X hours ago from

In a game with as much destructive potential as Just Cause 3, the laws of physics are bound to break at some point.

A crazy aerial stunt seen in a recent Reddit clip shows there's no shortage of potential silliness when experimenting with its open-world toys.

Uploaded by tehSlothman, the botched coastal takeoff takes an unexpected turn as the plane bounces off the ocean surf and spins like a figure skater in mid-air before exploding. Even by Rico Rodriguez standards, that takes action movie antics to a new extreme.

Lab Zero Squeaks Out Indivisible Crowdfunding Victory

At the start of November, things didn’t look entirely promising for Skullgirls developer LabZero’s crowdfunding campaign. With 12 days left before the campaign closed, Indivisible, an action-RPG with a cast of guest stars from other indie games, was still just under $1 million away from its $1.5 million goal.

Thanks to a 20-day extension from Indiegogo, Lab Zero closed out its campaign today successfully. Indivisible raised $1,567,729 against its $1.5 million goal.

It’s still going to be a while before we play the finished product, though. Indivisible might be the first game officially announced for a 2018 release, with a current projected launch of January in that year.

Reignite Your Fear Of Silent Hill 3 With This Robbie The Rabbit Statue

Silent Hill fans have another collectable to keep themselves from sleeping at night. Toy company Gecco is releasing a statue of Silent Hill 3’s bloody Robbie the Rabbit.

Standing at one-sixth scale (34 centimeters tall), the green Robbie the Rabbit statue is a version seen in the bonus film, Usagi on the Lost Memories: The Art & Music of Silent Hill, released on DVD in 2003. The green Robbie the Rabbit is seen riding a rusted elevator alongside other Robbie costumes in the brief clip.

Robbie the Rabbit also comes with a bloodied chainsaw and pipe. The pre-painted statue is scheduled to release in March 2016 for $150. Check out the gallery below for a better look at Robbie's finer features.

The game was announced earlier this year for a December rollout worldwide. Those in Asia will still be playing on December 3 as planned.

North American and European gamers will have to wait until January 26, 2016. “We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause in light of the holiday season, but appreciate your patience as we continue to prepare the title for global release this coming year,” 2K writes on the official Civilization Facebook page.

Report: Rocket League Hinted For Xbox One By Taiwanese Ratings Board

For a group of organizations that work so closely with the gaming industry, ratings boards seem to be porous when it comes to unannounced projects. The latest potential reveal comes out of Taiwan, as an Xbox One version of Rocket League has been listed.

Developer Psyonix has previously indicated that other platforms beyond PC and PlayStation 4 (on which Rocket League is available now) are in the offing. The listing was spotted by Twitter user Lifelower and confirmed by IGN before the listing was removed.

We’ve reached out to Psyonix for comment. We’ll update should we receive a response. For more, check out our Rocket League review.
