New Uncharted 4 Footage Introduces A New Nemesis For Nathan Drake

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End made an unexpected appearance at this year's Game Awards. The new footage of the single player campaign introduces a new character, a female, who clearly has history with Drake, and wastes no time roughing him up a little bit.

At one point, Drake points to his wedding ring, implying they may have been an item at one point in the past. The woman is looking for something Drake apparently has. The clip ends with her removing her shoes and getting ready to fight Drake.

This short tease is an interesting new look at Uncharted 4, implying there's much more afoot in Drake's life than we were originally led to believe. Naughty Dog will likely show off even more of Uncharted 4 at PlayStation Experience this weekend. You can also check out our hands-on impressions with the recent multiplayer beta.

We didn't get to see too much in the quick trailer, but what we did see was definitely spooky, mixing hallucinations, chills, and thrills through a trip into what looked like the actual Baba Yaga legend. This DLC definitely looks like it will be playing up the horror elements of the Tomb Raider reboots.

Report: Dark Cloud On the Way For PlayStation 4 PS2 Emulation

Sony appears to have accidentally revealed one of its surprises for The Game Awards or PSX. We recently learned that PlayStation 2 emulation is coming to PlayStation 4. It seems that Dark Cloud is going to be one of the first games announced for that program.

Sony reportedly published (and then quickly removed) information about the game. The description, captured by Twitter user Bradzaking (and shared again by Wario64), indicates that these are not PS2 Classics that were playable on PS3. The service also won’t be compatible with your library of disc-based games.

“PS2 Classics and PS2-formatted discs are incompatible with the PS4 system,” reads the description. Dark Cloud will be running at 1080p via up-rendering, support trophies, and utilize share play and remote play.
