Fallout 4 Deathclaw Ruins A Perfectly Reasonable Conversation About A Nearby Deathclaw

Fallout is no stranger to its monsters causing a ruckus in the open world, but this one sets itself apart thanks to its build-up.

The video comes from YouTube channel Brian Healy and in it a settler is seeking help from the player. He warns "something nasty" is living nearby, while in the background you can clearly see "something nasty" rampaging in the background. It all culminates exactly how you would expect it to, but it doesn't make it any less exciting to watch.

Cool Mod Sticks Watch Dogs Into Grand Theft Auto V

about X hours ago from

Ever played Watch Dogs and thought, "This is nice, but I wish I was in Los Santos"? Well, modder JulioNIB has just made something that'll brighten up your day.

JulioNIB's mod, simply called "Watch_Dogs hacks script", essentially takes Watch Dogs' hacking system and puts it inside Grand Theft Auto V. This means you can use your cellphone to mess around with stoplights, fire hydrants, and cars to create chaos. What's even more impressive about the mod is that it adds a bunch of hack functions that aren't even in Watch Dogs, like causing someone's cellphone to explode or commanding a parked car to accelerate into traffic.

Here's some gameplay footage.

NetherRealm Studios announced a bit ago they were bringing some new DLC characters to Mortal Kombat X this year, including horror movie favorites like Leatherface and the titular Alien . We haven't really  gotten a chance to see the new characters in action. According to Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios, that changes next week.

about X hours ago from

The latest TV spot for Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice only clocks in at 30 seconds, but it does show some new stuff.

It's basically an extended version of the clip we've seen of Batman slowly exiting his crashed vehicle while Superman looks on with disapproval. In the scene, we learn that Batman managed to hit Superman, even though he was standing completely still, while driving his Batmobile.

Reader Discussion: Do You Still Have An Ouya?

Yesterday, we posted a video where we played our Ouya for the first time in a long time. Do you own an Ouya? Do you still play it?

The console received some love in 2013 when TowerFall was a true exclusive, but after that, the device has more or less been languishing on a forgotten shelf in a hard-to-find closet. How about you? Do you have one? Do you play it? You can check out our video turning on the system for the first time in months below.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Home Release Won't Be An Extended Cut

Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Home Release Won't Be An Extended Cut

For those who left the theater chatting excitedly about The Force Awakens and what a director's cut version of the film might contain, J.J. Abrams has some bad news for you. According to Entertainment Weekly, the director has confirmed there will be no extended cut of The Force Awakens when it hits DVD, Blu-ray, and digital.

However, there is some silver lining: in that same interview he confirms there will be deleted scenes, so y'know, we might finally get to see a scene that reveals Jar Jar Binks' fancy lightsaber moves. Or not. One of those.

Abrams also took some time to say some nice things about Rian Johnson, who's taking the reins for Episode VIII: " “I will say that Rian’s an amazing writer and director. I’m obviously really excited about what he’s going to do.” Johnson previously directed critical darlings Brick and Looper.

Modder Recreates Opening Level Of Mirror's Edge In Dying Light

Modder Recreates Opening Level Of Mirror's Edge In Dying Light

Dying Light and Mirror's Edge have always had a lot in common: parkour, slightly awkward combat, an interesting use of the first-person perspective. Now they're sharing something else thanks to the efforts of modder Elimina, the opening level from Mirror's Edge.

For those of you hoping for a sort of weird Black Mesa project with Mirror's Edge being remade entirely in Dying Light: here's some bad news. It sounds like Elimina doesn't have the necessary time to create more maps, as they explain on the Steam page for the map:

I haven't been able to work on any of my maps for a few months, and as time goes on, I am torn that I am not able to finish my maps right now, but I also don't have the time to finish them at the moment. I will do updates sometimes, and I will at least try to expand onto them and get a more finished project. I am releasing my Mirrors Edge Prologue map and my Monteriggioni maps as pre alphas to make it so that my hours of effort put into these maps don't just disappear because I was to busy to finish them. I'm sorry that I am releasing unfinished maps, but I just didn't want my work to go to waste.

New Tom Clancy Humble Bundle Includes Beta Access For The Division

about X hours ago from

This week's Humble Bundle brings with it a slew of classic Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell games, as well as something else that's pretty interesting. If you pay above the average ($9.63 at the moment), you also get access to the beta for The Division, which gives you a chance to play it without having to try your luck with the waitlist or preorder the game.

You can check out all the games available in the bundle here. For my money, Splinter Cell: Blacklist is a modern classic more than worth the $10 you pay to get it. Everything else is just a swell bonus.

If you're concerned about whether your computer can run any of the more recent games in the bundle, Humble has provided a helpful document that contains the system requirements for them.
