GameInformer News EA is offering another game as part of its On the House program. You’ll need an Origin account and a PC in order to nab it, though.
The current game on offer is Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Released in 2012, Criterion was tapped to blend the metal carnage of its Burnout series with the cops-and-racers motif of the original Most Wanted.
The result was a high-speed, crash-filled extravaganza. We quite enjoyed it, giving the game a nine out of ten.

The concept of “free with purchase” games isn’t a foreign one to the game industry. Last year, players that bought Fallout 4 on Xbox One received Fallout 3 for free. Bayonetta 2 on Wii U came with the original bundled in.
Often, these deals are logical pairings. Sometimes, we’re left to wonder.
Microsoft and Ubisoft announced today that those who pre-purchase Far Cry Primal on Xbox One will receive a free game. No, it’s not Far Cry 4. It’s also not a backward compatible version of Far Cry 3.

Sega is bringing the popular 3DS RPG series 7th Dragon to the U.S. with the localization of its fourth entry – 7th Dragon III Code: VFD for the handheld this summer.
The game may be the fourth entry, but Sega says that story of this dungeon crawler stands by itself. Code: VFD takes place in 2100 when dragons have invaded the earth. You play as a dragon hunter working for Nodens Enterprises – a video game company – who must travel through time before facing off against the 7th dragon.
Players will build parties of three members, with up to three parties usable in a dungeon. Your options are further increased by the game's eight classes (like Samurai, God Hand, and Rune Knight), and players will have a wealth of character customization at their fingertips, from 40 character voices to 96 appearance options. You can also build up your Nodens HQ, complete with a lounge and cat cafe.

GameInformer News With the release of its third-quarter financial report today, Nintendo has also updated its list of best-selling Wii U and 3DS software. While the lists didn't shift greatly, there are some up-and-comers that Nintendo may eye for franchise potential.
We’ve included all the relevant information, including change in sales and placement on the top-selling list. We’ve also recalculated attach rate based on new software and hardware sales numbers. When last we reported, figures were based on sales as of September 30, 2015. Total Wii U sales now sit at 12.6 million, up 1.87 million for the quarter.
The updated sales figures put a fine point on how important the holiday quarter is to publishers and platform holders. Mario Kart 8’s gains continue to mount, as it remains a blend of recognizable and accessible.

GameInformer News Nostalgia lovers, rejoice. The creators of the game Knights and Bikes, which is up on Kickstarter now, name-check source material that's bound to make fans of the '80s squeal with delight. It's being developed by Foam Sword, an indie studio that's composed of several Media Molecule veterans.
Earthbound, Secret of Mana, and The Goonies are the inspirations listed for the game, which features a pair of kids on a mission to rescue adults. It features co-op gameplay and – of course – plenty of time on bikes.
If you recognize the visual style, it could be because of Rex Crowle's involvement. The Tearaway and LittleBigPlanet artist co-founded the studio with Moo Yoo, who worked on LittleBigPlanet and Ratchet & Clank.
