With Twitch, YouTube, and a host of other places available today to watch almost any game you want, anytime you wish, there's a special kind of game that stands alone - games that are just so terrible you only play and watch them for the sheer spectacle of witnessing just how bad they are.
From the legendary E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to Daikatana, there are tons of titles that fit the bill out there in the video game stratosphere.
Game Informer's Replay crew is working on Martian Gothic: Unification right now, a game that I can personally say is an abysmal trainwreck... but is it fun to watch? Is watching these games fascinating? Does the schadenfreude kick in while watching someone play these bad games?

GameInformer News Blizzard's Overwatch is scheduled to hit Xbox One, PS4 ,and PC this spring, and a patch rolled out today taking aim at balancing several of the more divisive defensive heroes, once again showing Overwatch is currently a "true" beta, full of massive changes and fixes as the team gets things ready for a (hopefully) balanced launch.
Patch 1.02 contains a variety of things, but the major focus is some tweaking and balance changes to two defensive all-stars, the robotic turret-on-demand Bastion and the turret-building "engineer" Torbjörn.
You can check out the full patch notes here.

The as-yet-untitled Blade Runner sequel has been given a release date, albeit a far off one.
The movie appears in theaters January 12, 2018, with Ryan Gosling in the lead role. Harrison Ford will also appear in the film, reprising his Deckard role from the first movie. Denis Villeneuve – director of Sicario – will be behind the camera.
Not much is known about the film at this time, although the story is being co-written by Hampton Fancher, who served in the same capacity for the original film (which itself was based on a Philip K. Dick story). It will reportedly take place decades after the events of the first movie.

GameInformer News The final talk at D.I.C.E. 2016 was between Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and movie director/writer Guillermo del Toro. Although del Toro recently stated "I will never again get involved in video games," following the cancellation of InSane at THQ and Silent Hills at Konami, he's a part of games again, at least to discuss them at D.I.C.E. He and Kojima revealed how their paths crossed as well as video games' place in entertainment.
Kojima first met del Toro in Japan for the release of Hellboy 2, but had previously interacted with him when he found out he was a fan of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Del Toro added that when he and Kojima first me they learned they had a lot in common, including anime, toys, and storytelling ideas. He even said they would sing anime theme songs together, Kojima doing them in Japanese, and del Toro in Spanish.
The two creators exchanged praise for each others work, Kojima even showed his appreciation of del Toro's film Pan's Labyrinth when he held up his hands to his head to reveal he drew eyes on his palms, just like the film's the Pale Man character.
