Retailer Listing Provides Details On Unannounced Dead Island Collection

Retailer Best Buy may have inadvertently announced a new Dead Island collection from Deep Silver, which brings the original game, its standalone expansion, and a new retro-styled endless runner to new-gen consoles.

The bundle, which is listed as the Definitive Edition on the site, is priced at $39.99 and has a release date of May 31. Since the game hasn't been officially announced, there's a chance that the date could be a placeholder. The listing says that it includes remastered HD versions of Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide, and a 16-bit style endless runner called Dead Island Retro Revenge. The listing says the bundle also includes all released DLC and patches, too. Fatshark's spinoff, Escape Dead Island, isn't included in the package, but perhaps that's for the best.

Paragon’s Heroes Will All Be Free For All Players

Epic has announced that its upcoming MOBA, Paragon, will follow in Dota 2’s footsteps. Rather than using the League of Legends or Heroes of the Storm model, Paragon’s heroes will be free for all players.

The game is headed to early access on March 18, and progress will carry forward. No profile wipes will happen after that point. Starting on March 14, you’ll be able to purchase founders packs at three different price points.

The basic pack costs $19.99, and will include skins, boosts, and other cosmetic items. There are also packs priced at $59.99 and $99.99 that add more of the same and an additional founder’s pack for a friend.

Pokémon Go GDC Presentation Canceled

We were hoping to catch new information about The Pokémon Company’s upcoming augmented reality adventure at GDC, but apparently we have to wait a bit longer. According to the event schedule, the Pokémon Go presentation has been canceled.

Announced last year, Pokémon Go is due out in 2016 and will use global positioning and an option wrist wearable developed by Nintendo. The software is being created by Niantic Labs, which created the augmented reality game Ingress.

The presentation, which was to be given by Niantic CEO John Hanke, would have been our first real look at how the game will work. We’ve reached out to Niantic and The Pokémon Company to inquire about the cancelation. We’ll update should we receive a response.

Check Out The First Ghostbusters Reboot Trailer

The Ghostbusters are back in the the first trailer for this summer’s reboot. In the two-minute video, you can see all four members of the new team, some amazing new ‘busting gear, and a host of things that go bump in the night.

While there are a number of callbacks to the original movies, and the trailer clearly connects the new team to Venkman and company, there are no in-scene mentions of the original Ghostbusters. All of the gear appears to be new, and the Ecto-1 is a different vehicle.

Force Awakens' John Boyega Wants An Offline Story Mode For Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens' John Boyega recently asked Star Wars Battlefront on twitter for something many of us have wanted since the game's release – an offline single-player campaign.

@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It's more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.

@EAStarWars yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative. Can I visit your base in the uk?
