Latest TMNT: Out Of The Shadows Trailer Raises The Stakes

2014's reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films was met with mixed reception. While some had concerns about the turtles' character design or how Shredder was handled, many fans and critics agreed that it was an entertaining film despite its flaws. The sequel to that film, TMNT: Out of the Shadows, looks like the filmmakers are aiming to course-correct the things that went wrong in the first movie while continuing to inject even more fun as evident by the latest trailer.

The upcoming film introduces mainstay characters like Krang, Casey Jones, Bebop, and Rocksteady. It also looks like the turtles are flirting with the idea of experimenting with the ooze that transforms two humans in to Bebop & Rocksteady, which causes some conflict among the brothers. You can see the latest trailer below.

Reader Discussion: What Do You Want To See From Titanfall 2?

Respawn has released the initial trailer for Titanfall 2, and EA is promising more details right before E3 on June 12, but what do you think so far?

Where would you go from here? What are the things you'd like to see in the next Titanfall game? What are your thoughts on how the sequel should handle progression or how the reported single-player should merge (at all) with multiplayer? Let everyone know in the comments section!

Adventure Scents Brings Your Nose Along On A Tabletop Or Video Game Quest

Adventure Scents Brings Your Nose Along On A Tabletop Or Video Game Quest

There have long been jokes about developers introducing smells into their games. Sure we’d all want to sniff Gandalf’s pipe smoke, but maybe wafting in Gollum’s pungent stench isn’t the best idea.

A company called Adventure Scents has found a way to give us the aromatic wizard’s tower, city streets after a gunfight, musty libraries, and dank sewers. Each of the many scents the company sells ship in a screw-top container intended to sit nearby while playing table-top or video games. Closing the tin quickly cuts off the odor, working well to isolate the beads that give off the aromas.

Some, like Dank Dungeon and Pool of Acid are a bit sharper. None are so terrible or offensive that I felt sick, but they might make you wrinkle your nose a bit.

Pop Culture Shock Toys Opens Pre-Orders For Street Fighter V Statues

The launch for Street Fighter V has been complicated, and the convoluted rollout for its March update didn’t help matters much. You might be looking for something to keep you anchored down while Capcom addresses the unstable nature of its fighting game. Maybe your anchor is a hefty $899 Ryu statue.

Pop Culture Shock Toys has opened up pre-orders for its hyper-detailed statues of Street Fighter V’s cast. All of the world warriors couldn’t make it, but KenCammy, Necalli, NashVega, and Ryu are present.

These statues range in size from Necalli’s 1:6 scale figure to Ryu’s massive 1:3 scale rendering, complete with real fabric for his costume. Nash, Ken, Vega, and Cammy sit in between these two sizes with 1:4 scale casts.

Codemasters Joining Forces With Former Driveclub Dev Evolution Studios

about X hours ago from

Back in March, Sony closed internal studio Evolution Studios (Driveclub) after a previous restructuring just a year earlier. Now fellow racing developer Codemasters has come to the rescue of the former competitor by purchasing the studio.

Codemasters will bring on Evolution Studios starting on April 25 (Evolution will remain in Cheshire, England), and the former Sony studio will work on a new, multiple-platform property. According to former Driveclub director Paul Rustchynsky, Evolution's new name within Codemasters has yet to be decided.

Mick Hocking, one of Evolution's founders, becomes vice president of product development at Codemasters in the transition, and he'll watch over all of the developer's studios.
