Smooth McGroove Battles Against Undertale's 'True Hero' In Latest Song

If you enjoy video game music, you're probably no stranger to the a cappella arrangements of Smooth McGroove. The artist has already tackled several songs from last year's indie hit Undertale (check out Megalovania if you haven't already), and today he's performing a tune from another of the game's iconic boss fights.

The song is called "Battle Against A True Hero," and it is normally heard during the player's fight against Undyne.

Max Payne Shootdodges Onto PlayStation 4 This Friday

Remedy might be focused on the Xbox One and PC these days, but once upon a time, the studio’s games lived elsewhere. One of its best titles, Max Payne, was on PlayStation 2 (as well as Xbox and PC).

You’ll be able to relive Max’s tragic tale this Friday, according to the PlayStation Blog UK. Remedy’s bullet time-infused hardboiled noir tale is headed for a PlayStation 4 re-release.

Like other games that have received this treatment, expect a bit of spit and polish. This likely includes 1080p upscaling, trophy support, and utilization of all PlayStation 4 features like streaming and Share Play.

Batgirl is the latest addition to the series. She stands in at 10" in height and comes with a grapple gun, batarang, and interchangeable hands.

Batgirl's tentative release date is this August, and is expected to be priced around $99.99 like the other figures in the series.

Armello Is Coming To Xbox One, All Platforms Getting DLC This Fall

Armello, a digital board game featuring anthropomorphized animals and shadowy banes, is making its way to another platform. Xbox One players will be able to roll the dice this fall.

If you happen to be playing on PlayStation 4 or PC though, there’s something for you to look forward to, also. When the Xbox One version is released, it will include four additional characters. Those are also coming to the other platforms in the same timeframe.

The first of these, Elyssia, is a member of the rabbit clan that interacts with towns to boost their defenses and make it harder for other players to enter. If you happen to be at PAX East this weekend, Armello will be playable on Xbox One along with Elyssia.

The Technomancer Gets A Summer Release Date

Spiders Studio's upcoming action/RPG had some new details revealed today. The most important among them is the release date; The Technomancer will be arriving this summer on June 21.

As a Technomancer who wields electricity through his implants, players will journey through the settlements and canyons of Mars while facing its many threats. Combat is centered on three different fighting styles, which are based on your changeable stances during fights. The staff's mobility and damage is good against groups, the blade and gun use dodging and mobility to control the battle, and the sword and shield stance focuses on defense and parrying for critical hits. Using your electrical buffs to boost attack and defense is also important to gain an advantage.

Spiders Studio is known for their previous work with Bound By Flame, but the developer says that The Technomancer is its "biggest and most expansive RPG yet." The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

See How Ride Along 2 Put Kevin Hart's Gamer Skills To Good Use In Mini-Doc

One of Ride Along 2's action sequences is focused on something most of us have thought at one time or another: Do the driving skills we've cultivated during games like Grand Theft Auto translate to the real world? Kevin Hart's character, Ben Barber, gets to find out. We've got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the sequence was conceived and filmed, with a walkthrough from director Tim Story.

The clip does seem to prove that playing games makes you an excellent driver, to the detriment of the bad guys. Additionally, cars flip and explode with ease. Then again, we're also led to believe that Ice Cube would put up with this kind of nonsense for more than one second. The takeaway? Ride Along 2 is not a documentary.

Guile Returns To The Fight In Street Fighter V This Month [Trailer Added]

If Street Fighter V has been getting stale for you, perhaps the return of one of the original world warriors will lure you back. Capcom has announced that Guile will be released for free this month.

The company says that the delay of the Zenny Shop (that allows players to purchase skins, titles, and additional characters for cash or earned currency) has led it to release the real American hero for free for a limited time.
