Rumor: NASCAR Expansion Coming To Forza 6

Forza 6 has gotten plenty of post-release DLC cars and content, and if this picture is correct, stock cars may be the next addition to the sim-racer.

A reader on Reddit has posted a picture of a digital download retail slip in the UK for what appears to be a NASCAR expansion (for £15.99).

No other details are evident via the shot, but we can hope that it includes specific campaign races similar to the game's recent Porsche expansion.

Rumor: More Arkham HD Details Emerge From The Batcave

about X hours ago from

The long-rumored Batman: Return to Arkham HD Collection has surfaced yet again, this time thanks to an apparent listing on an Italian retail site and magazine ad. The collection purportedly includes both of Rocksteady's last-gen Batman games – Arkham Knight and Arkham City – all gussied up to take advantage of the current hardware generation.

Gaming Tree House posted a screengrab from GameStop Italy, which featured a description for the game, as well as a magazine ad that shows the box art. The listing isn't currently up on the retailer's site, so that screengrab is all we have to go on right now. According to the apparent site listing, the collection is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 10 for an MSRP of about $40, and it includes remastered versions of the two games and their respective DLC.

Full disclosure: GameStop is Game Informer's parent company.

Street Fighter V Underperforms But Capcom Still Closes Year Strong

about X hours ago from

Monster Hunter saved the day for Capcom as Ryu and pals failed to deliver expected sales. The publisher has announced a strong close to its most recent fiscal year, despite a significant shortfall in Street Fighter V revenue.

A year ago, Capcom announced it expected to sell 2.5 million Monster Hunter X copies and 2 million Street Fighter V units. Monster Hunter on 3DS (which has still only released in Japan) moved 3 million copies. Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC, a worldwide release, only moved 1.4 million.

Net sales for the company were up 19.8 percent to ¥77 billion ($719.2 million). Operating income climbed by 13.7 percent to ¥12 billion ($112.3 million) and net income rose by 17.1 percent to ¥7.8 billion ($72.3 million).

It's-a Minecraft! Mario Invades Mojang's Blocky Paradise On Wii U Next Week

When Microsoft announced it was bringing Minecraft to Wii U, the endgame was clear: world (1-1) domination. The master plan goes into effect next week, with the release of the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.

The free update, which will be out May 17, brings 15 pieces of Super Mario music, item textures, 40 skins, and a pre-made world. Inspiration is pulled from a number of Mario's greatest adventures, including Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Sunshine.

If you prefer your games on disc, you'll be able to purchase a retail version on June 17 for $29.99. The Super Mario mashup content will be included. If you can't wait to try the game on Wii U, it's also $29.99 via the eShop.
