For Miles, a love of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise spurred his wish to become an honorary Plants vs. Zombies team member at publishing and development studio PopCap. Miles is 8-years old and in remission for Burkitt’s lymphoma.
As Miles pulled up to the studio, he was met by a huge crowd of PopCap team members and several zombies awaiting his arrival. Throughout the day he learned how to draw zombies, how they digitally design the characters and add the zombie sound effects, personally designed his own plant sprite, and animators even drew him in with all his favorite characters in a short film.

As previously announced, Titan Publishing will be releasing a comic book series to fill the gap between Dishonored and Dishonored 2. We have a preview of the first four pages.
Before Dishonored 2 releases in November, players can get reacquainted with the city of Dunwall and its residents with this four-issue comic book series. As seen in the preview, the main story follows the first game's protagonist Corvo Attano.
Dishonored #1 will hit comic book shelves on August 3, 2016 for the price of $3.99, with four cover variants to choose from. The series is written by Gordon Rennie, whose work includes 2000 AD and Doctor Who, and illustrated by Andrea Olimperi and Marcelo Maiolo, credited on Batman Beyond and Old Man Logan. When all the issues have been released in November, a graphic novel collecting them together will be released.

GameInformer News Remember when we wrote that look back at the Injustice comic’s five-year run? Some of our readers pointed out that the timing is right for another NetherRealm game, and the comic winding down seemed pretty convenient.
If a new poster leak is accurate, the pieces might be falling into place within the next week. The following popped up this morning via Twitter user “CollapseControl.”

We already knew Jamie Lee Curtis had cred. She attended Evo last year, but if you weren’t paying attention you might have missed her cosplaying as Street Fighter’s Vega.
Yesterday, Entertainment Tonight host and producer Ashley Crossan shared some pictures from the Warcraft premiere in Hollywood. Curtis was in attendance, and while she’s not in the movie, she got into the spirit.

Yesterday, Epic Games showed off the retail packaging for Paragon Essentials Edition. You can head to your local store today and pick it up. There’s one thing you should know, though: The game isn’t done.
For those of us steeped in gaming news and culture, paid early access and beta tests are daily occurrence. But for many more casual customers who walk into a store to browse the shelves before purchasing, they might not realize that the Paragon disc in the box doesn’t include a fully finished and tested game.
As you can see in the picture above, the front of the box doesn’t mention the words “beta” or “paid early access.” It also doesn’t explain that Paragon will eventually be a free game.

GameInformer News After months of putting PC commanders through the wringer, XCOM 2 is finally coming to console. Given that we weren’t sure it was coming at all, we’re calling this one better late than never.
When Firaxis suggested it was only planning on bringing XCOM 2 to PC, it was technically true. The port is being handled by The Workshop, which developed Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage for Bordlerands 2, Rekoil: Liberator, and handled the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One work for The Evil Within.
You won’t need to wait too long to take the fight to the aliens and Advent forces on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. XCOM 2 will be out on console on September 6.

A advertising leak has allegedly outed some of details related to Watch Dogs 2. If accurate, we can look for Ubisoft’s second adventure in hacking to hit in mid-November.
Eurogamer snapped a picture of the IGN advertisement that appears to have gone live early. The image clearly shows the November 15 release date and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.
This is the second time in recent months that an IGN advertising leak has outed a release date early. The first was in March, when a full-page advertising wrap listed the Overwatch release and open beta dates before Blizzard’s announcement.
