We Get A First Look At Kait Diaz's Gears Of War 4 Figure From McFarlane Toys

In February we got wind that some Gears of War 4 action figures would be coming from McFarlane toys in the fall of this year. Today, Gears of War's Twitter released a first look at the action figure of female protagonist Kait Diaz, a character whose first appearance in the series will be Gears of War 4.

They had also previously released images of an action figure for JD Fenix who will also be debuting in Gears of War 4. A short video shows off all 15 points of articulation for the figure. Both JD and Kait's figures stand 7" tall, are highly detailed, rest atop a Gear of War 4 stand, and include their weapons in-hand.

The Gears of War 4 figures will also come in McFarlane’s new collector boxes, and although prices are not known yet, other similar statues of this size run for approximately $16 from McFarlane Toys. We're assuming we'll see a figure announced for Del, the third main character in the party, before long. What other characters will be included in the collection is unknown, but there are a few to choose from.

Blizzard To Discuss New Overwatch Hero At SDCC

Earlier this week, a cryptic tweet from the official Overwatch account hinted that a new character announcement could be on the horizon. Now, it seems as though a reveal is imminent, as the description for an SDCC panel from Blizzard states that the company will be discussing "Overwatch's newest hero."

In the tweet from earlier this week, an "email" between Soldier 76 and Reaper discussed (with the help of Mercy and Torbjörn) a new way to save lives of Overwatch agents. Mercy also points out, however, that the rifle will likely be weaponized, hinting that the rifle could function as a longer-range attack for a potential support hero. You can read the full description for the panel below.

Blizzard developers James Waugh (director of story & creative development), Michael Chu (senior designer, Overwatch), and Arnold Tsang (assistant art director, Overwatch) present a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of developing the art, design, and story for Overwatch's newest hero. Q&A session moderated by Kim Phan (senior manager, esports).

Report: CS:GO Lotto And Its Owners Pulled Into A Lawsuit Against Valve

It was recently uncovered that popular YouTubers Tom “ProSyndicate” Cassell and Trevor “TmarTn” Martin are owners of the website CS:GO Lotto – a website they promoted without openly revealing their ownership of the affiliated company. It has called into question the ethics of online influencers, and now a new wrinkle has appeared as the two, and their website CS:GO Lotto, have been pulled into a lawsuit levied against Valve and Counter Strike: GO related to whether or not the trading and selling of the game's randomized skins constitutes gambling.

Polygon reports that Cassell and Martin have been added as an addendum to the lawsuit against Valve which was filed in late June by an anonymous parent on behalf of their child. The lawsuit accuses Valve of knowingly creating system where the game's weapon skins have begun to function like a currency and are being traded and used to place bets.

A filing with the addendum has been submitted, but but hasn't yet been published to the federal district court electronic filing system. We will update this story when we are able to uncover the document with the new information.
