Collectible Tactical Game Pox Nora Coming To PS4, Vita

Pox Nora, a free-to-play, collectible, turn-based strategy game has been running for nearly a decade. It’s changed hands three times, but it has survived and thrived. Now it’s coming to console.

Desert Owl Games is bringing Pox Nora to PlayStation 4 and Vita later this year. When it arrives, it will include all 29 expansions and more than 1,600 runes (cards).

Players build a deck of 30 runes, which include units, equipment, and spells. Battle takes place on maps featuring different terrain and obstacles, and players call their runes into the fight as troops on the battlefield.

PokéVision Shows You In Real Time Where Pokémon Are In Pokémon Go

PokéVision Shows You In Real Time Where Pokémon Are In Pokémon Go

In a quest to catch them all in Pokémon Go, we've managed to confirm the website PokéVision features an accuate, up-to-date map of Pokémon around the user's location. It makes the whole process of walking around looking for the little monsters a little easier, albeit a little less mysterious. This article was also worked on by interns Haley MacLean and AJ Moser.

In order to do this, PokéVision pings Niantic's application program interface (API) to locate Pokémon around a user's chosen location, displaying them in real time. The website also shows a timer under each Pokémon, counting down how long it will be in the area. However, Pokémon spotted using a lure or incense will not appear on the PokéVision website as they are unique to whoever placed them.

To confirm the accuracy of PokéVision, we targeted the area near our office and went to see if we could find the Pokémon the site claimed were near us. We went after two different Pokémon, a Seel and Squirtle, and we are able to confirm they both showed up exactly where the website said with fairly close accuracy.

Seagate’s Official Gears Of War 4 External Hard Drive Comes With DLC

If you have an original Xbox One and only 500 GB of hard drive space, you’re probably long out of storage. Your choices are to either juggle the games you have installed or get an external drive to increase your capacity.

There are a number of options out there, but Microsoft and Seagate are banking on love for Gears of War 4 to sell this one. The 2 TB drive is designed to match the upcoming Gears of War Xbox One S and similarly decorated Xbox One Elite Controller.

The drive works with any Xbox One, of course. And if you don’t care about the deco or the two DLC Gear Packs that come with the device, you can find a similar Seagate drive without the Gears logo for about $15 less expensive.

Destiny On Xbox 360, PS3 Gets Its Final Scheduled Patch Today

It’s the end of the road for Destiny on last-gen consoles. What you play today is the final version of the game on those platforms excepting emergency fixes.

Today’s 2.3.1.0 also lays the foundation for September 20’s Rise of Iron DLC. The update fixes a few small things, including some class abilities, a timing error related to weekly activities, and the Apotheosis Veil’s availability from the blueprint kiosk.

Most importantly, this patch delivers the Moments of Triumph book to those that had a full Postmaster inventory when it was distributed. You should see the update download next time you’re online.

This Week's Cunning Stunts Update Adds Five New Races To GTA Online

Rockstar has released details on this week's Cunning Stunts update, which brings more high-octane racing to GTA Online. Players can tear through five new tracks, get a special new outfit, and cash in on some great in-game deals.

Supercar fans can check out the Chiliad and Vespucci races, which take players high above San Andreas and along the coast, respectively.  Bikers get a pair of races: Over the Bridge is a jump-heavy point-to-point race, while The Wave pits racers against seaside winds. Finally, sports cars can tear through the H2OO track, which gets dangerously close to the ocean.

All races will give double GTA$ and RP from July 27-29. Log in from now until August 1, and you can add a free Gold Jumpsuit to your wardrobe. Finally, all resprays and neon kits are 20-percent off this week, and the Buckingham Nimbus Jet and Volatus helicopter are 30-percent off.

Fallout 4's Vault-Tec Workshop DLC Out Today

One of the most satisfying elements of exploring Bethesda's Fallout games is stumbling on a Vault and discovering its weird secrets. While each Vault-Tec creation had a surface purpose – keeping people safe from atomic blasts – they were also used for a variety of sinister psychological experiments. With today's Vault-Tec Workshop DLC, you can play Overseer to your own Vault in Fallout 4 and conduct the secret tasks of your choosing.

The expansion is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC today for $4.99. Check out the video below to see Bethesda play the expansion for more than 40 minutes. That should give you an idea of if you have what it takes to be an Overseer. It's a tough job, after all.
