Join Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, And Felicia Day In Con Man: The Game Out Today

Stars like Nathan Fillion, Joss Whedon, Alan Tudyk, and Felicia Day are uniting once again, but this time in a mobile video game.

Con Man: The Game is based off the Comic Con-HQ show featuring Alan Tudyk as Wray Nerely, a man who starred in the beloved sci-fi show that ended too soon (an obvious spoof off Firefly), and now he tours the con circuit. Tudyk and Fillion ran a successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to create the series, asking for $425,000. The campaign ended up receiving $3 million, making it the highest crowdfunded web show to date. Con Man: The Game became a reality when the campaign reached the $3 million tier. Now the game is free-to-play on iOS and Google Play.

In the simulation game, you run your own con, building booths and hiring celebs to help you out, such as Joss Whedon as the janitor and Kevin Smith as security. Oh, and there's alien invasions happening every so often.

Mortal Kombat XL Might Be Coming To PC After All, Public Beta Now Available

Back in January, Warner Bros. cut off support for the PC version of Mortal Kombat X after it suffered a string of technical problems. Now it seems the company might finally recommit to updating the PC version of the game.

Earlier today, an "enhanced online beta" for Mortal Kombat XL (the upgraded version of the game which included much of its downloadable content) cropped on the Steam store page for Mortal Kombat X. According to a notice on the page, the beta will run from now until Monday, August 29. The beta client is separate from the main client, which means even those who did not originally purchase the game can play in the beta.

The Division’s Next Two Paid Expansions Have Been Delayed

Ubisoft announced today that two upcoming paid expansions for The Division have been delayed. Massive, the lead studio working on the game, is working on feature and gameplay improvements that will happen before the DLC is released.

Survival, the third paid add-on, was supposed to be out this summer. Instead, Massive is taking the time to work on patch 1.4, which it expects will be out in October. That update will include bug patches, systems improvements, and quality of life upgrades.

Between now and then, Ubisoft will be tapping the community for feedback, including bringing some players to Massive in Sweden to help give input. Survival will be out sometime between 1.4 and the end of the calendar year.
