Battlefield 1 Earns Its Beta Designation With Hilarious Glitch Compilation

Battlefield 1 is a big complicated game where a lot can go wrong that has not released yet – but it did have a beta.

The video, put together by YouTube channel CrowbCat, gathers a huge collection of the betas glitches, and puts them all to the tune of the Wiz Khalifa's “No Limit (Sencit Remix)”, which was used in the game's E3 trailer. It comes with the caveat that the clips in this video do not represent the final product, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining to watch.

Battlefield 1's beta was EA's biggest to date. The game will be available October 21.

Did You Know Gaming Explores The Roots Of Deus Ex

about X hours ago from

Sixteen years after its first release, Deus Ex is still a strong cyberpunk stealth series, and its first entry was incredibly influential for its time. Did You Know Gaming, the YouTube gaming trivia channel, has dedicated a recent episode to the history of Deus Ex.

The concept was conceived in the early '90s by creator Warren Spector, but the first game didn't release before the year 2000. The concept began under the name Troubleshooter, a game would later become Deus Ex, which Spector came up with Origin Systems in 1994. After watching The X-Files with his wife, Spector became inspired further to create a game filled with conspiracy theories and sci-fi. His pitch was rejected at Origin Systems, and so he pitched it again at Looking Glass studios under the name Junction Point. Still not finding a home for his game, he later joined Ion Storm, where the first iteration of Deus Ex was born.

Death Stranding Might Feature Female Hero, Releases Before 2019

about X hours ago from

Hideo Kojima has been progressively unveiling details about his first post-Konami game, Death Stranding, this week at the Tokyo Game Show. First, we learnt that the mysterious upcoming title will be an open world action game, and now, Kojima is teasing its release window, and that the game might feature a heroine.

Both on Twitter and during his appearance at TGS, Kojima cryptically said that Death Stranding will be out before the Tokyo Olympic Games (2020) and before the time period set in Akira, which is 2019. Going by this logic, it likely means Death Stranding would release at some point in 2018.

Kojima Responds To Metal Gear Survive: 'Where Do Zombies Fit Into That?'

Konami is releasing its first post-Kojima Metal Gear game, titled Metal Gear: Survive. The four player co-op game is a stark departure from the series, where you and your teammates fight against hordes of biologically infected zombies. At Tokyo Game Show, Kojima gave his thoughts on Konami's new take on the series.

According to IGN, Kojima made several comments during his stage presentation for Kojima Productions' Death Stranding. When someone asked him about Metal Gear Survive, Kojima was quick to say, "That's nothing to do with me!"

He went on to say that he doesn't feel like Metal Gear Survive tonally fits the rest of the series. "The Metal Gear games are about political fiction and espionage," he explained. "Where do zombies fit in with that?"
