Clueless Gamer: Wiz Khalifa Helps Conan Stay Cool Through Gears Of War 4

Gears of War 4 comes out Tuesday, so Conan O'Brien tried it out with rapper Wiz Khalifa, who is known for (among other things)  sampling video game soundtracks in his songs.

The results are... fairly unsurprising, given Khalifa's vocal fondness for certain botanical remedies. Conan's usual game guru, Aaron Bleyaert, tries valiantly to explain some Gears lore to the duo, but he's quickly shushed in favor of, as Conan puts it, "walking around shooting guys." You can see how that went in the video below.

Earlier this year, Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey played Overwatch on Clueless Gamer. Past segments have featured Zac Efron and Seth Rogen playing Mario Kart 8, and Marshawn Lynch and Gronk playing Mortal Kombat X. Also, don't forget to check out Andrew Reiner's Gears of War 4 review.

SNK And Atlus Announce The King Of Fighters XIV Championships

According to a trailer released by Atlus, a King of Fighters tournament will take place in early 2017. It will have 16 entrants from around the world competing for the title, so there's sure to be some high level gameplay on display.

This fourth wall-breaking tongue-in-cheek trailer features Antonov trying to get KOF XIV to sell 20,000,000,000 copies along with pro players shedding some positive light on the game. While these pro players seem to fairly enjoy the game, we had some mixed feelings.

Farming Simulator 17 Getting Mod Support On Console

The Farming Simulator community has kept the series alive on PC with a crop of mods, but the console versions haven't supported user-created content. That's changing with Farming Simulator 17, which is bringing mods to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

Mods will have to pass through a curation process from the developers before they're published on console, but once approved players will be able to add new animals, environments, game mechanics, and more – and at no additional cost.

Giants Software says the goal is to have them available for download starting October 25, when the game launches.

Reader Discussion: What's The Best Open World In A Game

Reader Discussion: What's The Best Open World In A Game

Mafia III comes out tomorrow, and it got me thinking that I'm really in the mood for a good open world experience. More and more games seem to be going open world, which isn't too surprising since open worlds offer players a lot of freedom that more linear experiences don't provide. Out of all the worlds you've hiked, driven, or horsed your way across, which one was your favorite?

Maybe you’re a GTA player, and you love exploring the crime-ridden streets of a city rich with various activities. Or maybe fantasy worlds with a touch of grit like the one in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt are more your style. Then again maybe you like the post-apocalyptic vibe of games like Fallout 4 or Mad Max. Or maybe you love the creative freedom of games like Minecraft. Personally, I really like the setting and atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption. I loved exploring the old west on my horse and gunning down outlaws.

What about you? What open world memories do you cherish the most? Share you thoughts in the comments below.
