Portal and Left 4 Dead designer and Quantum Conundrum director Kim Swift has joined Jade Raymond's Motive Studios within EA as a design director.
The studio is working on both new IP and Star Wars projects, although it's unknown exactly what Swift will be working on.
Directly before joining EA Swift was at Amazon Game Studios as a senior designer.

A new trailer has released for the Wolverine movie Logan, featuring the aging mutant as well as the shocking, feral abilities of his young charge, Laura.
Naturally, this isn't just a fun roadtrip, as the pair – and Professor X – are on the run from an organization trying to capture the young girl. Good luck to them with that.
Logan comes out March 3.

The Long War 2 PC mod for XCOM 2 – made by creators of the original Long War mod, Pavonis Interactive – is out now for the game.
The mod is sanctioned by developer Firaxis, and introduces a host of new mission types.

Fig, the hybrid crowdfunding/investment game-funding platform used by titles like Wasteland 3 (shown), got a shot in the arm today thanks to $7.84 million in financing.
Spark Capital and Greycroft led the round, and a Fig spokesperson says that the influx of money will accelerate the number of projects on the platform.
Fig allows fans to back crowdfunded projects in the usual manner as well as buy shares for them for possible monetary return based on sales revenue.

Pillars of Eternity/Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian has started teasing its next project dubbed Project Louisiana.
Nobody knows what the title is, although fans are already hoping it's Fallout related.
The full image below also has the following quote: "I used to dream that when my god came back, he would forgive us. That's the trouble with dreams. Sooner or later, we all have to wake up." A quick Google search of the quote came up with nothing.

Co-developer Nicalis has announced that Nintendo Switch title The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is now actually a launch title for the March 3rd system.
The game is available for $39.99 (retail and digital), and if you pre-order now, Nicalis is teasing "something special" for the first few thousand copies.
Afterbirth+ contains the add-on content packs for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, which itself introduced new content for the original title back in 2015. So all told, Switch fans are getting the game's definitive edition.
