What if Olympic athlete Usain Bolt was in the world of Pokémon? He'd probably be on Team Skull.
Beyond that basic premise, there's not much to explain when it comes to this Japanese Pokémon commercial – but that doesn't mean it won't put a smile on your face.

Game industry veteran Peter Moore – who has held senior positions at companies like Sega and Microsoft – is leaving his current role as chief competition officer at Electronic Arts. Though he won't be peddling virtual sports games anymore, he's not giving up on the spirit of competition.
Moore (pictured right, above) will be taking on the role of CEO for the Liverpool Football Club, according to the club's announcement. In the past, Moore has not been shy about his love for LFC, so it seems like an ideal match for everyone involved.
Moore will move to Liverpool and start his duties in June.
Overwatch's roster may be getting bigger soon, as Blizzard has once again teased the existence of a new character on the horizon.
The latest tease from the company comes in the form of this tweet from the official Overwatch account:
[UPDATE] Genius grant recipient and Numbani local Efi Oladele posts curious image on her holovid channel, declaring: "Time to get to work!" pic.twitter.com/lQSzzD5ZT5
The good news? A new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is on the way. The bad news? You have to wait until tomorrow to see it. But at least you can get a quick fix today while you wait.
Marvel Entertainment tweeted out the teaser video below, which is hilariously unexciting...but odds are good that we'll be more impressed by what we see tomorrow.
Tomorrow - get ready. Obviously. #GotGVol2 pic.twitter.com/8CM4MFfpW4
Germany is infamous for their draconian restrictions on video games. Titles released in the country are often altered to tone down their violence, lest they be put on the dreaded Index, the notorious List of Media Harmful to Young People.
In October, Volition's 2001 shooter, Red Faction, was removed from the index after 15 years of being banned from sale in the country, and now its sequel, the aptly titled Red Faction II, has also been removed from the list of forbidden video games. Why were the games on the list in the first place? The violence surely had something to do with it, but the games have a strong "workers of the world unite" vibe, and perhaps those themes didn't sit well with the people in charge of the list. In any case, both classic PS2 Red Faction titles are now available for purchase in Germany.
The last entry in the series was 2011's underwhelming Red Faction: Armageddon, and the series has been dormant since then, though the original title was recently released as a PS2 on PS4 classic. See GI's Replay of that first title in the series here.

Minecraft has been a phenomenon for years now, but if you think enthusiasm is flagging, think again. Today Microsoft announced that the freeform survival/building simulation has sold over 121 million copies.
That's a solid jump from the 100 million copies the game had sold as of June 2016. The official Minecraft Twitter account also released an amusing animated image breaking down some of the statistics based on that many users:
Hurrah! Sending a big thank you to all our amazing players. pic.twitter.com/5RaD1dpW65

On the eve of the Breath of the Wild's release, Youtuber Mark Brown takes a look at the title that game is trying to recreate: The original Legend of Zelda.
In the latest Game Maker's Toolkit video, Brown talks about how the first game in the series offered a large amount of freedom and left players to fend for themselves. Players had little guidance where to go, and most characters offered only cryptic hints about where to go. But, Brown argues, it's the ways the game subltle guided you through its many locations and secrets that made it a true adventure. You can watch the full video below.
