Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Is Getting Premium Map Pack DLC

In April 2008, Activision and Infinity Ward released the Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Almost nine years later, history repeats itself; and a remade version of that content is coming to Modern Warfare Remastered.

The new DLC features the same four maps as the original map pack all those years ago, but with a new coat of polish. In addition to the old/new maps, the Variety Map Pack also includes ten Rare Supply Drops.

The Variety Map Pack costs $14.99. The pack is coming to PlayStation 4 first, starting on March 21, before launching on Xbox One and PC at a later date.

New Update Announced For No Man's Sky

After a rocky start, No Man's Sky took a step forward with the release of the Foundation Update in November. Now that base-building, farming, and new games modes have been added and bugs fixed in additional patches, Hello Games is focusing on an additional content update for the game.

Details are currently sparse on The Path Finder Update other than that it will introduce a new vehicle designed for planet exploration. Hello Games has stated that the update will build upon the Foundation Update in a way that hints at the game's future growth.

PSA: Overwatch's Orisa Won't Be Live Until Later This Month

While everyone is having a blast experimenting with Orisa's signature style on the PTR, game director Jeff Kaplan confirmed today that Orisa won't be making the transition from test realm to live quite as fast as some heroes have in the past.

"We're leaving Orisa on the PTR for a little while. We're getting great feedback and fixing a lot of issues," says Kaplan on the Overwatch forums. "I know this feels a little longer than other PTR periods, but we think it will be for the better. "

Significant Nerfs For Overwatch's Ana Are In Sight

Significant Nerfs For Overwatch's Ana Are In Sight

On Overwatch's Public Test Realm, new hero changes are going live, the most significant of which take aim at the support sniper Ana. These nerfs look fairly profound, with values being tweaked on several critical abilities. Ana's rifle damage will be dropped from 80 to 60, and her biotic grenade damage and healing is being cut in half, from 60 to 30 on the damage front and 100 to 50 on the healing front.

Other changes of note: Junkrat won't injure himself from his own explosions, and Sombra can actually stealth in silence if foes are sufficiently far away.

Naughty Dog: Another Uncharted After The Lost Legacy Is Unlikely

Naughty Dog: Another Uncharted After The Lost Legacy Is Unlikely

During our recent cover story trip for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, we chatted with various members of Naughty Dog about its award-winning franchise. While at the studio, the team reiterated it is done with Nathan Drake, feeling it had wrapped up his story perfectly and to open it back up would be a disservice to Uncharted 4. But is it done with the series, or is The Lost Legacy an attempt to see if it can be successful without Drake?

Naught Dog co-president Evan Wells is excited about the opportunity to dive into Chloe's story and return to a fan favorite in the The Lost Legacy, but he insists that Naughty Dog doesn't have some grand plan to do Uncharted serially or create more side stories with other characters. "I would say that Naughty Dog doing an Uncharted after this is unlikely," he says. "I would never say never, but we've got The Last of Us Part II on our plates and there's so much other stuff that [we want to explore]. It'd be hard. If we magically had that two-team, three-team studio, sure – it'd be great to keep doing it. We really love the franchise, but the studio has limited resources and lots of other ideas. I'd say the likelihood is low."

There you have it. Another entry isn't completely off the table, but after working on Uncharted for over a decade, Naughty Dog wants to explore other ideas.

April Cover Revealed – Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

For nearly a decade now, we’ve experienced high stakes, adrenaline-fueled adventures from Nathan Drake’s perspective. With his story wrapped up, Naughty Dog is focusing on a fresh thief in a new standalone expansion out this year: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Stepping out of the shadows and into her own adventure is fan-favorite Chloe Frazer. The Lost Legacy delves into Chloe’s backstory and heritage, sending her to the mountains of India, all in the name of the highly valuable Tusk of Ganesh. The treasure could give her the fame and recognition she’s been seeking.

However, Chloe can’t do it alone. She must make an unlikely alliance with Nadine Ross, the Drake brothers’ adversary from Uncharted 4. Chloe and Nadine are both independent self-preservationists, making their coalition challenging. Can the two put their differences aside long enough to come out on top? Together they scale statues, visit temples, drive through gunfire, and get up close and personal with a dangerous villain also after their mark.

DayZ Creator's Space MMO Ion Is No Longer In Development

Ion, a space-survival/MMO by DayZ creator Dean Hall, was announced at Microsoft's E3 2015 press conference, but we haven't heard anything else about the title since. Now it looks like the collaboration between Hall's RocketWerkz studio and SpatialOS engine company Improbable is no longer being worked on.

Eurogamer has confirmation from both Hall and Improbable that neither side is now working on the game, and according to Hall, he hasn't been active with the project since the fall of last year.

"I'd far rather people were pissed off I didn't release something than I release something I wasn't happy with and try to take money from them," said Hall. "That's the most important thing."
