Limited Edition Fire Emblem Echoes Bundle Available At Launch

If you're excited for Fire Emblem: Echoes: Shadows of Valentia – a modern re-do of Japanese-only Famicom title Fire Emblem Gaiden – the newly announced limited-edition bundle may be worth considering.

The bundle features the game (with a reversible cover sheet that resembles the original cover art), three pins (Alm, Celica, and Marth), a hardcover artbook, and the soundtrack, all for $59.99 on May 19.

The same day you can also pick up Alm and Celica amiibo as a set for $24.99. These amiibo open exclusive dungeons and can be utilized to summon an ally for a single turn in battle (at the cost of some of Alm or Celica's health). Other amiibo can also be used in the game.

Reader Discussion – What’s The Last Game You We’re Completely Addicted To?

A lot of games are fun, but some games consume you more than others. Which ones have you obsessed over?

We've written a few articles on the science behind why we love games and what drives us to play them, but that doesn't make us immune to the power that great games hold over us.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a sickness I can't shake. I spend almost every waking moment thinking about that game, and it's been keeping me up at night. I haven't felt this addicted to a game in a few years. What about you? Has Zelda gotten its claws into you? Are you currently fascinated by something else? What's the last game you totally obsessed over? Leave your answers in the comments below.

YouTube Series Man At Arms Forges League Of Legends' Nameless Blade

The modern-day blacksmiths of the Man At Arms: Reforged team have released a video of their latest video game-inspired project: deadly assassin Yasuo's iconic sword from League of Legends.

The Nameless Blade is a katana with motifs reflecting Yasuo's ability to control wind. With their signature attention to detail, the smiths of Baltimore Knife and Sword faithfully recreate the unusually large katana while adding nods to the game and character along the way, such as a visual effect on the blade (known as a hamon) that looks like blood splatter in reference to Yasuo's past.

Latest Destiny: Age Of Triumph Teaser Shows Off Returning Weapons

The team at Bungie is presumably hard at work putting the finishing touches on Destiny’s Age of Triumph, the final major update for the first Destiny game, currently scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 28. To preface the launch, the developer has been hosting a series of live streams on its Twitch channel, and this Wednesday at 10am Pacific, we’ll be getting a look at changes and additions to the game’s weapons and cosmetics.

Before the live stream, Bungie has provided a trailer to tease what will be talked about. Within the brief video, we get a glimpse of several new raid armor ornaments, as well as the return of some fun weapons like the Vex Mythoclast, now with a new look, as pictured above.

Check out the full video and see if you spot any of your old favorite weapons sporting new looks.

Pokèmon Developer Game Freak Working On New Entry In

Game Freak, developers of the Pokèmon series since its inception in the 1990s, are hard at work on a new secret project for "console." Nothing has been officially announced, but the buzz is that it could be a new Pokèmon game for Nintendo Switch, or possibly a port of Pokèmon: Sun and Moon or another legacy title for Nintendo's portable/home console hybrid.

A new job listing on Indeed Japan is adding fuel to the speculative fire; the company is looking to hire people who can create character models on machines comparable to Wii U and PlayStation Vita for a new entry in an RPG series which is "popular on a global scale." No Pokèmon title has been announced for Nintendo Switch, but if this job listing pans out the way we think it could, then perhaps an announcement is just around the corner.

The most recent mainline Pokèmon title, Sun and Moon, released in 2016 to critical acclaim and record-setting sales figures.

Red Dead Redemption's Map Has Been Modded Into Grand Theft Auto V

As reported on NeoGAF, a modding team that goes by Team White has brought the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption's map to Grand Theft Auto V on PC. Tentatively titled "Red Dead Redemption V", the mod has taken just over two years to get to this point.

Team White says that players should expect a teaser trailer soon, with a beta coming sometime this summer. They also put out a brief FAQ, as wells as some pretty impressive screenshots, both of which you can take a look at here.

The most interesting thing mentioned in the FAQ pertains to what exactly the mod is. While it is not a full port of Red Dead Redemption to the PC, Team White does mention that the full map will feature "additional content" in the future. It remains to be seen what this additional content entails, whether it be from Red Dead Redemption's single player, multiplayer, or possibly original content. Either way, the mod is an impressive feat.

Goat Simulator Waste Of Space DLC Coming To PS4 Tomorrow

Goat Simulator – love it or hate it – is one of the quirkiest goat simulation games on the market today. The expansion, Waste of Space, came out on PC, Linux, and Mac in May of last year, but the add-on is finally making the jump to PlayStation 4.

The DLC is a parody of all things space, from Star Wars to Star Trek and everything in between. A recent PlayStation Blog post references romance options, so it may or may not be a coincidence that the PS4 release of this add-on coincides with the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Check out the trailer for this endearingly absurd expansion to the Goat Simulator universe:
