PSA: Super Mario Run Is Out Now On Android

Although Super Mario Run was scheduled to arrive on Android devices by March 23, it made a surprise early appearance on the Google Play store today, launching before its anticipated release date.

You can head to the Google Play Store to download the game for free here. In comparison, Super Mario Run released late last year on iOS devices, meaning Android users had to wait months before its arrival on the Google Play Store.

Furthermore, the 2.0 update on iOS also released, which adds the following changes to the game:

First announced in January, the iPad port of Failbetter Games' spooky sea exploration title will launch for iOS users on March 23.

Containing all the core content of Sunless Sea (excluding the Zubmariner DLC expansion), Failbetter discussed some of the changes found in the iOS version of the game on Twitter. Assassin's Creed TV Series Is In The Works

In a recent AMA discussion on Reddit, Assassin's Creed's head of content Ymar Azaizia confirmed that Ubisoft is working on a television series based off the popular Assassin's Creed franchise. Further details about the series were not given.

"We will take our time to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of," Azaizia wrote on Reddit.

Although not yet formally announced, this at least confirms that the series in the works. Last year, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot was in discussions with Netflix about a potential partnership. It's likely that this is tied to this project, though it remains to be seen exactly what studio is behind the series and where it will be available to watch. This isn't the first time Assassin's Creed has branched off into the cinematic realm. Late last year, an Assassin's Creed movie starring Michael Fassbender hit theaters.

Bungie Hosts In-Game Fashion Show Ahead Of Destiny: Age Of Triumph

Bungie has been rolling out new details about Age of Triumph over the course of three live streams on its Twitch channel, and today brought the final installment. The majority of the stream was spent showing off some spiffy new raid armor ornaments and changes to raid weaponry, but we also got some hints about balance changes. The big takeaway remains what it has been throughout conversations about Age of Triumph; this update is planned as a victory lap for the game, with a chance for players to return to older adventures and have a large percentage of the content from the first three years of Destiny become relevant once again.

From a visual perspective, it was hard to beat getting a look at some dramatic new ornaments for every one of the four raids in the game. Vault of Glass, Crota’s End, King’s Fall, and Wrath of the Machine will now all have armor sets that can be obtained at max light and power, but all four of those sets also have the option for applied ornaments that enhance their appearance. We’ve included screengrabs of the art for each of those sets throughout this post. In addition to some dramatic visual effects, some of the sets also have dynamic elements; both the Crota’s End and King’s Fall ornaments have lighting effects that drop out and then fade back in after a Guardian takes damage.

Report: JoyCon Wireless Issues Caused By

Nintendo released a statement to Kotaku today addressing the Switch's left JoyCon connectivity issue, saying that the widespread issue is a "manufacturing variation". The statement insists that there is nothing wrong with the JoyCon hardware that would be cause for replacement, and that the variation has already been corrected at a factory level. You can read the full article here.

Nintendo is also offering anybody affected by the issue the chance to send their JoyCon in to them for an adjustment free of charge, which is a good move. The JoyCon sync issue has been widespread since the launch of the Switch, even affecting Game Informer's own Andrew Reiner. He wrote a piece about some of the other tribulations of his time with the Switch, which you can read about here

There isn't a definite release date quite yet, but Three Gates is planning to put Offensive Combat Redux on the market in the next few months.

Report: Latest PlayStation 4 Update Is Causing Network Issues For Some Users

Released on March 9, Sony's version 4.50 update for PlayStation 4 added many new features to the platform, including external hard drive compatibility and Boost Mode for improved game performance on the PS4 Pro. Polygon reported today that an unfortunate error after the update is also preventing some users from connecting the console to Wi-Fi.

The first user to report the issue posted on the PlayStation forums the day of the update. Others soon cited the same problem, saying they received an error message that their passwords were incorrect or the network was busy. Troubleshooting on their part has not resolved the issue. After two weeks of silence, Sony has now stated that, “We are aware and are looking into the situation.”

Diablo III's Latest Update Now Live, Adds Armory And More

The latest Diablo III patch is live on PC and PlayStation 4, bringing Blizzard's game up to version 2.5.0. It adds a variety of quality-of-life enhancements, a new Primal Ancients item tier, and more.

One of the biggest changes is the introduction of the Armory, which allows players to create and swap between five different character builds for each of their characters. It's a great time-saver for players who have multiple sets for different situations, such as playing with friends or farming rifts solo. Crafting materials now have their own tab in the UI, and they won't take up inventory space anymore.

The update also adds a Primal Ancients tier of loot, which is very rare loot that features perfect attribute stats as well as the maximum number of sockets (though weapons aren't socketed). They're designed to be the ultimate carrot for end-game players to chase.
