Jak And Daxter PS2 Games Coming To PS4

The first three games starring Naughty Dog's wacky duo crossed platforms in the Jak and Daxter Collection for PS3 and Vita, but the two are now making their way to the latest console generation as well. Expected sometime this year, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing, which was previously available only on PS2, will be available as digital downloads on the PlayStation 4.

All of the games will feature visual upscaling to 1080p and trophy support, as well as share play and activity feeds. Additionally, Jak X: Combat Racing will have local splitscreen in addition to its original Adventure and Exhibition game modes, though no online play will be available.

Sega Has Started A Bayonetta Countdown

This past Saturday – April Fool's Day – Sega released an actual 8-bit Bayonetta flash game on Steam. That game leads to a countdown for something Bayonetta-related in about a week.

IGN has a clearer picture of the countdown's background image and it is unmistakably Bayonetta, so perhaps Saturday's flash game is just the start of something else for the franchise. We shall find out soon enough.

PSA: Free Trial Of Dishonored 2 Coming This Week

Known for its open-ended mission structures, supernatural assassination powers, and dual protagonists, Dishonored 2 tells a sweeping tale of revenge. Beginning on April 6, players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC can participate in a free trial of the game as they seek to restore Empress Emily Kaldwin to the throne of Dunwall.

The free trial allows players to play the first three missions of the game's campaign as either Emily or Corvo Atano, protagonist of the original Dishonored. Anyone who participates in the trial and upgrades to the full version of the game will be able to transfer their save data and keep their previous progress. Links for each of the platforms can be found here, though you'll have to wait until April 6 for the trial to show up.
