Play As Yoshi In Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Tails has long been Sonic's animal companion, but what if Mario's dino pal jump over to the other side and joined Sonic on one of his adventures? Speculate no longer; it's possible thanks to a new mod.

Modder Shiryu put together this slick hack for Sonic The Hedgehog 2, which not only adds Yoshi to the game, but also emulates a lot of the mechanics from Yoshi's Island. It certainly looks more fun than Sonic '06.

Mark Hamill Joins In Bad Lip Reading Of The Force Awakens

"I think I'll just go home and have celery." So decides Han Solo during his confrontation with Kylo Ren in Bad Lip Reading's parody of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

A YouTube series that pokes fun at movies, TV, and current events through original dubbing, Bad Lip Reading's latest video follows the exploits of Rey, Finn, and Solo as they fight (or "talk" about fighting) demon machines, ninjas, and a Silence of the Lambs-like Kylo Ren. In a humorous twist, Harrison Ford's character is voiced by Mark Hamill, the actor who portrays Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movies.

Candy Crush Saga Developers Working On A Call Of Duty

A recent announcement from King, the developers of the ultra popular Candy Crush Saga, reveals that the developer is working on a new mobile "experience" centered around Call of Duty. The page itself is a hiring call, with the developer noting it's looking for an art director and senior systems designer, among other things.

Activision, the publisher of Call of Duty, purchased King for nearly six billion dollars in late 2015.

Microsoft's Project Scorpio Can Benefit Xbox One Titles, Too

Today Microsoft revealed the tech specs for its upcoming Project Scorpio console, and while it seems to fit the bill for anyone looking for full 4K gaming on a console, the unit will also apparently make most of your existing Xbox One titles better when played on the system.

An article over at Eurogamer's Digital Foundry, based on their discussions with Microsoft, points out that Scorpio should lock in consistent performance, improved GameDVR capture, and load times. The catch, however, is that these benefits may not apply uniformly to all Xbox One titles, and there may be compatibility issues with some games.
