Reader Discussion: Which E3 2017 Press Conference Are You Most Excited For?

E3 2017 begins in earnest on Saturday with EA's press conference. After that we have Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Bethesda, and Ubisoft events to look forward to, among others. Which one are you most excited about?

Microsoft and Nintendo are at the top of my personal list, mostly because I think they have the most potential to surprise. Microsoft doesn't have a lot going into the show that we already know about, and it's time for Nintendo to go all in on its new console. I am also especially excited for Sony, mostly based on the precedent they have been able to set the last few years.

How about you? What press conferences you will make sure you are watching this weekend and early next week? We will be streaming and commentating on all the press conferences live on Twitch, so make sure to tune in. For more of our pre-E3 2017 coverage, head here. You can also tell us your own E3 2017 predictions here.

CD Projekt Red Issues Statement On Ransomed Cyberpunk 2077 Design Documents

The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red released a statement this morning that early design documents related to its upcoming, but mostly mysterious, Cyberpunk 2077 are currently being held for ransom by hackers.

How hackers were able to get their hands on the files is unclear, but CD Projekt Red is refusing to pay the ransom. In its statement, CD Projekt Red writes, “The documents are old and largely unrepresentative of the current vision for the game. Still, if you’re looking forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077, it would be best to avoid any information not coming directly from CD Projekt Red." Following up its statement, and looking toward the future, the developer also wrote, “When the time is right, you will hear about Cyberpunk 2077 from us – officially.”
