Fan Shows Horizon Zero Dawn Would Make A Great Lego Set

Lego builder Marcel V hasn't played Horizon Zero Dawn, stating he doesn't get "these kinds of games," but was inspired to build it by another Lego enthusiast. The set he dreamed up is based on the Newcastle Tyne Bridge section of the game, and shows Aloy facing off against a soon-to-be angered Watcher. The detail in the terrain is particularly impressive, as it provides a true sense of life, and also delivers angles we rarely see in official Lego sets.

The odds of Lego ever making a Horizon set are slim, but this little set shows this world is a great fit for it. Just imagine what a Thunderjaw would look like in brick form.

Marcel V's Flickr page is loaded with custom builds, including several based on Harry Potter and Star Wars. Give his work a visit and let him know what you think of his creations!

Final Fight's Abigail, Metro City Coming To Street Fighter V

Street Fighter and Final Fight have long had a close relationship, with many of the latter's characters appearing in the former. With Street Fighter V, that relationship deepens, as Abigail joins the fighting game's roster.

The Mad Gear baddie looks to be Street Fighter V's biggest combatant, using a combination of grappling throws, fist flurries, and super moves to pound his opponents. The trailer also gives us a look at the game's new Metro City stage, which again looks reminiscent of Final Fight. You can watch a trailer showcasing the character below.

Nomura Reveals More On Keyblade Transformations And Summons

Nomura Reveals More On Keyblade Transformations And Summons

Keyblade transformations are a cool new feature in Kingdom Hearts III, and we've seen our share of them in just about every trailer. From the keyblade turning into a pegasus cart to dual guns for Sora to wield, its transformations look to play a big part in the next entry. The latest trailer was no exception, showing us Sora’s blade turning into a laser whip and a drill in the new Toy Story world.

Although they've been on display visually, we still don't know how they work in the game. I took the opportunity to ask director Tetsuya Nomura more about keyblade transformations and other combat elements in my recent interview.

“First and foremost, each keyblade will have its own form that it can transform into, and it’s different per keyblade,” Nomura said. “There are at least two different forms it can take. For example, in Toy Story, you saw the giant hammer and then the drill. Another one was at the beginning of the trailer where you saw Sora shoot arrows and it [then] turned into a bazooka, so there are two different forms. It also has multiple layers in terms of transforming; you start out with your first phase of transformation, and if you successfully connect your combos, the [next] transformation will happen.”

The event's lineup will consist mostly of what you'd expect from a major fighting game tournament: Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2, The King of Fighters XIV, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Super Smash Bros. For Wii U, and Street Fighter V. The tournament will also include Arms, Nintendo's long-range, springy fighter. King Of Fighters' Geese Howard Is Coming To Tekken 7

After teasing that Tekken 7's DLC characters would be from franchises outside of Tekken (the game already lets you play as Street Fighter's Akuma), Bandai Namco has revealed the game's latest fighter, who was definitely not a predictable pick: Geese Howard of King of Fighters fame.

The character was shown off shortly after the Tekken 7 finals at this weekend's Evo fighting game tournament, and he's got several of his characteristic moves, including a parry through that even counters rage arts. You can watch the character show off his skills below.
