Pikachu Invades Snapchat, Our Nightmares

A new Snapchat lens finally answers the age-old question of what a human/Pokémon offspring would look like. Spoiler: It's terrifying.

Snapchat's new Pikachu lens superimposes the electric rat's signature ears and rosy cheeks over your image, while simultaneously enlarging your eyes to a creepy degree. If that's not unsettling enough, opening your mouth causes Pikachu to hop into view and give you a peck on the cheek, causing bolts of lightning to shoot out of your face. The official Pokémon Twitter account posted a gif of the lens in action, which you can see below.

Mewtwo Coming Soon To Pokémon Go, By Appointment Only

Niantic just wrapped up a special Pokémon Go event in Japan, where trainers could battle – and catch – the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo for the first time. Those of you who couldn't make it aren't going to be left out much longer, however. Players worldwide will soon be able to nab the elusive critter, but they'll have to prove their dedication first.

A new tier of battles, called exclusive raid battles, are rolling out to Pokémon Go in the coming weeks. These will be different from current raid battles, in that you'll need an invite to participate in these timed events. To get invited, players will have to have completed a traditional raid battle at a site where the exclusive raid battle will be scheduled. Niantic says invites will also include details on when the exclusive raid will be taking place, so trainers can best plan their attacks.

Mewtwo will be the first legendary Pokémon to appear in these new raids, but you can expect to see other legendary types rotating in over time.

As one of the Nintendo 64's premiere platformers, Banjo Tooie holds a lot of memories for older players. As a game developed for one of the world's first major 3D gaming systems, it also has a lot of hard edges and polygons, which leads to it holding a number of secrets behind all the geometry.

Youtube channel Shesez uses their behind-the-camera prowess to uncover some interesting secrets hidden behind these shapes and worlds in the latest episode of their Boundary Break series. To see disembodied hands, mirror images, and enemies in strange places, watch the video below.

Blizzard Creates New, Official Test Server For WarCraft III

WarCraft III turned 15 years old last month. As a belated birthday gift to one of its most famous games, Blizzard has launched a Public Test Realm (PTR) for the game, making changes to game balance and map alterations in a new test environment.

The PTR tweaks the balance of creep camps in the early game, increases resource allocation, and makes a number of map alterations for aesthetic purposes. The game has been receiving balance patches regularly, with its last patch released as recently as April of this year.

Blizzard also details some upcoming changes for the game. "We are aware Warcraft III matchmaking is a bit long in the tusk," the update says. "We will be improving matchmaker logic for a future patch."

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the story's a little obfuscated than usual. Players have to piece together the history of this new Hyrule themselves. This is different towards the end of the game, when players learn more about the game's major antagonist, Calamity Ganon.

Warning: Spoilers for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild follow.

As it turns out, the English translation of the game changes one major detail about Calamity Ganon: whether or not it will resurrect after being defeated.
