Obi-Wan Standalone Star Wars Movie Could Be On The Way

A new standalone Star Wars adventure starring everyone's favorite sci-fi scold could be coming, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to the site, director Stephen Daldry [The Hours, Billy Elliot] is in talks with Disney and Lucasfilm to help a film focused on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

It's apparently still very early in the process, with sources telling The Hollywood Reporter that the project has no script. It's also unknown if previous Obi-Wan actor Ewan McGregor will be back.

A Han Solo-centric film is currently wrapping up. It was originally being directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller [The Lego Movie, 21 Jump Street], but Ron Howard took over following creative differences.

The Next Splatoon 2 Splatfest Pits Flight Versus Invisibility

The time for arguments about condiments are over, now it is time to argue over which super power you would rather have.

The next Splatoon 2 Splatfest, in-game events that pit players against each other depending on which side of a poll question they're on, has been announced for September 1 and 2. This time, the question comes down to the power of flight versus the power of invisibility.

Players can go into the game and choose their side, then duke it out in Turf War battles during the Splatfest weekend, with a winner being declared based on voting and battles won. Last time, Mayo eked out a victory over Ketchup despite losing the vote due to the number of overall battles won.
