Hasbro has been on a roll of releasing entries in its mega-size Titan class figures in recent years, remaking new versions of some of the big characters that were most coveted in the 1980s. We’ve seen big city-bots like Metroplex and Fortress Maximus, but collectors can now bring home one of the most memorable of the bad guys, as the Decepticon named Trypticon is now available for purchase.
Objectively the largest of the released official Decepticon toys to date, Trypticon is a pitch-perfect homage to the original figure (but much larger). Like the original, he can transform from a kaiju/dinosaur form into both a massive spaceship and a city mode that can serve as a backdrop for smaller figures in your collection. The figure also has a fun feature tied in with his monstrous nature – he can devour the tiny Titan Master figures, which can then be retrieved from a pull-out compartment in the torso.

This weekend at GenCon 50, Fantasy Flight Games announced its newest iteration into the board game world, Star Wars: Legion. Unlike their previous games, like X-Wing and Imperial Armada, Legion is taking aim at juggernauts of the miniature world like Warhammer and Warmachine.
Legion's Core Set, which retails at $89.99, contains 33 miniatures, and unlike your favorite X-Wing ships, they are unpainted and primed to take on your preferred colors. As a ground-based miniatures game, Legion will immediately appear familiar to genre diehards, but Fantasy Flight is aiming to keep the game a little less esoteric. Using jointed movement tools, squads move about in cohesion with their unit leader, so it's not necessary to measure and move every single figure individually. As long as your squad leader's in the right place, you can place foot soldiers in nearby terrain for cover.

InXile Entertainment dropped a weird surprise on us all, with the surprise re-release of its 13-year-old game The Bard's Tale. The new version, dubbed "Remastered and Resnarkled," features higher-resolution textures and supports 4K at 60 fps.
"Sharing only a name with the original series, this 'Bard's Tale' is instead a comedic send-up of the fantasy RPG genre starring Cary Elwes as the Bard and the late, great Tony Jay as the bemused Narrator of the tale," InXile wrote on the Facebook reveal. "Thirteen years later, it endures as one of our most popular titles on PC and mobile. Today, we are pleased to return the game to the console realm.
It's available now for $9.99 on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and Vita.
