Someone's Found A New Resident Evil 4 Easter Egg, 12 Years After Release

Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games of all time. It's been released on several platforms over the years since its debut in 2005, and despite its age, it's endured as one of the most important third-person shooters of all time. It's also endured when it comes to hiding secrets, as one its many Easter eggs have only just been found.

Youtubber Slippy Slides has found a new secret hidden. As he explains in the video below, a human figure is just barely visible on the other side of the door you cross after helicopter pilot Mike crashes his plane. If your brightness is set too low, you may not even see the figure off in the distance, beyond any area you interact with. However, by manipulating the game's camera, Mr. Slides was able to get a closer look at the figure: A flat image of a person wearing a green down jacket, jeans and a blue scarf, making what looks like a pair of peace signs (the hands are obscured enough that it's entirely clear).

Destiny 2's First Raid Will Debut One Week After Launch

Less than a week ahead of launch, we've seen pretty much everything Destiny 2 has to offer (barring any potential surprises, of course). One major thing we haven't seen yet, however, are raids, the co-op experiences that act as the endgame and a constant goal to strive towards. We still haven't seen how they'll work, but at least now we know when we will.

Destiny 2 game director Luke Smith has revealed via Twitter that the first raid will go live Wednesday, September 3 at 10am Pacific time. Trials of the Nine, the hyper-competitive multiplayer mode, will go live at the same time two days later.

There will be no Raid tease for Destiny 2's first Raid. It will launch at 10 a.m. Pacific on Sept 13

Trials arrives 10 a.m., Sept 15

Reader Discussion: What Will You Be Playing This Labor Day Weekend?

Most gamers in the U.S. are gearing up for a three-day weekend, which hopefully will include some time for our favorite hobby. So what's on your gaming schedule?

Normally we here at G.I. publish Weekend Warrior on Friday evenings, where editors outline their upcoming gaming plans. However, everyone got so excited for the three-day weekend that they ran out of the office before telling me what they were up to. Rather than undergoing an elaborate ruse where I impersonate all my fellow editors and make up entries for them, I figured I'd instead turn the question over to the community, to see how you'll (hopefully) be spending the extra day off.

I'll personally probably just end up playing more Diablo III, though I've been urged to check out Path of Exile on Xbox One as well, and I'd like to start Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The season finale of Game of Thrones also got me in the mood to finally return to Skyrim, which is probably the only game that will last me until the final season of the show starts up again.

You Can Now Play Star Wars: Empire At War's Online Multiplayer Again

The 2006 RTS classic once again features online multiplayer thanks to a surprise update from the developer.

If you're unfamiliar with the game, Empire At War is a real-time strategy title from Petroglyph Games that takes place before the events of A New Hope. The PC-only title features both land and space battles, along with separate campaigns for the Empire and Rebel Alliance. Former G.I. PC editor Adam Biessener gave Empire At War an 8.25 way back in the day, stating that it "will make the hearts of Star Wars fanatics sing with glee at the life it brings to Lucas' universe..." Reiner provided a similarly glowing second opinion, awarding Empire At War an 8.5.

Empire At War also featured a Skirmish mode, but it was disabled in 2014 when GameSpy's servers went down. Today, however, Disney and Petroglyph released a new patch on Steam to reenable the online mode, as well as add mod support. According to Petroglyph's press release, Empire At War is the best-selling game on Steam, having sold over 6.7 million copies.

Dead Rising 4 Coming To PS4 With Absurd New Content

Microsoft's exclusivity window on Dead Rising 4 is almost up, and Capcom is prepping some wild new content for the game's transition to PS4.

Announced today by Capcom Vancouver on PlayStation.Blog, Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package will include a new mode entitled Capcom Heroes, which allows Frank to don the costumes of over a dozen Capcom characters, endowing him with their corresponding special powers. In addition to the can't-unsee Cammy Costume above, you'll be able to dress up as Ghost Trick's Sissel, Mega Man X, and Street Fighter's Zangief, plus more. While some of those costumes were already available in the Xbox One version of the game, Capcom Vancouver describes Capcom Heroes as an "all-new way to experience the Dead Rising 4 story."

The PS4 version also includes all of Dead Rising 4's DLC content, including the single-player story content and wacky multiplayer-focused mini golf mode. LEGO Millennium Falcon Is The Biggest Set Ever

LEGO has announced yet another new Millennium Falcon, the ship that made the kessel run in some unspecified time or distance depending on how deep you want to get into this.

The new set, which does have a specified amount of pieces, is 7,541 pieces, which makes it LEGO's biggest set ever. The previous Millennium Falcon set also set the record for the biggest set at time, at over 5000 pieces.

This Millennium Falcon, which you can find without having to flee from an Imperial search party, measures 33 inches long, 22 inches wide, and 8 inches high. If you're trying to figure out whether that will fit on your LEGO shelf, you might need to extend those shelves out a few feet.
