Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that they would be memorializing a passed away developer in Shadow of War, which we reported on here. Since then, questions about the nature of the paid DLC delivery mechanism and how profits from its sale were being distributed to the developer's family have plagued WB, who has now clarified their intentions.
Due to the nature of charity laws, there was concern over WB not donating all the money to the family depending on where the DLC was purchased. Certain states and international purchases were relegated to asterisks, causing uproar among players in the ensuing weeks. This became further muddied by questions of profit versus revenue in the sales.
Warner Bros. have now made the DLC free available to everyone who owns the game. Warner Bros.' initial plan was to only promote the DLC in the areas where they could donate the money and seemingly did not expect questions that they were unable to answer about everywhere else. WB are now donating the money themselves independent of any DLC sales.

The official Overwatch twitter announced new mini-figurines from Cute But Deadly of part of the Overwatch cast.
The blind boxes, each containing one figure, takes a character from Overwatch and makes them a tiny, super-deformed miniature, so you can make all the gremlin D.Va scenes you want in the comfort of your own home.
Not all of the figures use their default costumes, either, so hopefully you enjoy the different ones. overThe figures will be available on October 10.

Los Santos International Airport has a new plane hitting the runway today alongside plenty of discounts to get you to the airport and up in the air.
The Buckingham Howard NX-25 is a prop aircraft seemingly based on the Hughes H-1 Racer built in 1935. The weaponless aircraft will set you back either $975,000 or just under $1.3 million in game, depending on if you’ve unlocked the trade price discount or not.
The nose of GTA's Howard NX-25 gives away the real life influence of the Hughes H-1 Racer. Rockstar even named the airplane after Hughes, whose first name was Howard.

Fortnite, the Minecraft-Meets-Shooter early access title, has officially released its free Battle Royale mode.
The new mode, which comes quickly after its announcement a few days ago, pits players against each other in a massive battle royale using the base game's mechanics. It bears more than a slight resemblance to the mega-popular Battlegrounds, another battle royale game that is currently exclusive to PC and coming soon to Xbox One, and the game's developers are not happy about that similarity.
The mode might be a bit hard to find. For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners, regardless of whether you have paid for the early-access version of Fortnite, you can go ahead access the Battle Royale mode through the game's launcher on the PSN and XBL stores. PC players can access the game through Fortnite's website to sign up.

The Mummy Demastered, a 2D Metroidvania by Wayforward meant as a tie-in to the fantasy action movie by a similar name, looks strangely cool.
The pixel art non-linear action game takes place in the same world as this summer's launch of the Dark Universe initiative. Rather than play as Tom Cruise, players take on the role of an elite soldier unit that is fighting against the hordes of the Mummy's magical army.
The game was originally announced in June with a few screenshots and an unspecified list of platforms. Wayforward has now clarified that the game will come out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch this fall. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments below.

Golf Story, a much-anticipated Golf RPG for the Nintendo Switch, has finally gotten a release date, coming in hot on September 28.
The player takes on the role of a golfer who has given up on everything to take one last swing at golfing. The game combines RPG mechanics with golf, similar to 1999's Mario Golf on Gameboy Color. The story plays out over eight different courses and each includes its own cast of characters and challenges.
There was a bit of concern with Golf Story not having a date, as the developer promised a release in September but it lacked a date until today. Games like Golf Story and Stardew Valley's release date vagueness have proven frustrating for fans anticipating the games, but Golf Story's date at least makes good on its release schedule.
