Capcom Heroes Mode Announced As Free Update For Dead Rising 4

Capcom released a trailer today for Capcom Heroes mode in Dead Rising 4, last year's Xbox One and Windows exclusive that is coming to PlayStation 4 this December.

The new mode has Frank wearing a dozen different costumes from Capcom's many games. During the story campaign, Frank will find arcade machines that unlock the different costumes, each of which has their own unique weapon and a special move taken from the character's source material. For example, X has a charge shot from his X-buster, while Dante uses Ebony and Ivory in Gunslinger style.

Not all the costumes have been revealed yet, but the trailer below shows the following representatives:

Bethesda: "When it comes to Nazis, you can put us down in the 'against' column."

Bethesda:

Since its reveal at Bethesda's 2017 E3 show, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has attracted fair amount of attention and, even before it's released, courted controversy. Despite being the latest iteration in 20 year-plus video game series about killing nazis, The New Colossus has received criticism for having a political left-wing bias, as noted by the responses to this Bethesda's latest marketing push for the game, with the hashtag #NoMore Nazis.

Pete Hines, Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing at Bethesda, went on record with GamesIndustry.biz. to spell out the publisher's views on nazis (in case it wasn't obvious). "Wolfenstein has been a decidedly anti-Nazi series since the first release more than 20 years ago, Hines says. "We aren't going to shy away from what the game is about. We don't feel it's a reach for us to say Nazis are bad and un-American, and we're not worried about being on the right side of history here."

"In Wolfenstein's case," he goes on to say, "it's pure coincidence that Nazis are marching in the streets of America this year. And it's disturbing that the game can be considered a controversial political statement at all."

Pacific Rim: Uprising Trailer Goes Heavy On Action

A new trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising has dropped a few months after its initial teaser and it cranks the first movie's knobs to eleven.

The trailer has John Boyega as Jake Pentecost, son of Idris Elba's character from the first movie, thrust into a very Jaeger-prominent future. Rather than being humanity's last stand, the human-controlled mechs are the primary force defending against the Kaijus. The trailer also features scenes of jaegers battling other jaegers and a Kaiju evolving to be bigger and badder.

Check out the trailer below and let us know in the comments what you think. While the original movie was directed by Guillermo Del Toro, the sequel has former Marvel's Daredevil showrunner Steven S. DeKnight. Pacific Rim: Uprising will be released on March 23, 2018.

Watch Conan O'Brien Play Shadow Of War With Kumail Nanjiani

In the latest Clueless Gamer segment, the self-described clueless gamer himself Conan O'Brien plays through Warner Bros.' sequel to 2014's Shadow of Mordor with comedian Kumail Nanjiani.

A gamer himself and host of video game podcast The Indoor Kids, Nanjiani does his best to guide Conan through the world of Shadow of War, including his first interaction with orc marauder Kruk the Drunk. It doesn't go super well for Conan.

Check out the full segment below if you're in the United States. If not, it might not be available for you. You can also check out Shadow of War when it releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10.

The Creator Of Dust: An Elysian Tail Announces Never Stop Sneakin' For The Switch

Dean Dodrill, the one-man army behind Dust: An Elysian Tail, has announced his new game: Never Stop Sneakin', a seemingly comedic stealth action title for the Nintendo Switch.

The trailer is a surprisingly perfect parody of Metal Gear Solid, set against overhead gameplay and narration of the game's story concept. A villain named Amadeus Guildenstern has traveled through time and kidnapped all the presidents. I won't spoil all the jokes in the trailer for you, but Guildenstern's vice president is a helicopter, and that seems like a strong ticket for 2020.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think about Dodrill's newest title.

This Destiny 2 Raid Team Figured Out How To Cheese The Boss By Cheating Death

This story obviously contains spoilers for Destiny 2's first raid.

During Destiny 2's Leviathan raid, one team came across a nasty glitch that made its final boss a walk in the park.

The fireteam involved, players from a clan from The Modfather Gaming, put up a video of a thus far unconfirmed glitch that prevents enemies from spawning in the final boss room. Essentially what happens is that, when the team shoots the chalice out of Calus' hands to begin the fight, one player will get immediately crushed by Calus' foot. After some very specific positioning, a player goes to change characters in the menus, and waits for the raid reset screen to fade to black before confirming. Correct timing leads to respawning in the room with no enemies to fight except a defenseless Calus.

Every Xbox One X Has Master Chief Riding A Scorpion Inside

Windows Central, after poring over videos of the Xbox One X's internals, found a drawing of Microsoft's Spartan mascot riding the console's original namesake.

The Xbox One S also had a tiny Master Chief etched into the paneling. It is also a somewhat popular thing to do, as Nintendo included a secret message into the Switch's Pro Controller, as well.

The Xbox One X launches on November 7 for $499.99. The initial wave of preorders were labeled as the Scorpio edition, featuring a nostalgic original Xbox green and named after the project name that was popularized after its initial announcement.
