Free Incoming Shadow Of War Update Will Extend Endgame

Note: Slight, vague spoilers about the structure of Shadow Of War's endgame (but no plot spoilers) ahead.

Many players are still chewing their way through Shadow of War's meaty game. However, for those in search of more: have no fear, Monolith is working to deliver an extension on the content of Shadow of War's endgame. After the events of the main game of Shadow of War, the player becomes involved in a back and forth struggle with the orcs trying to retake the fortresses you've taken through the game.

While right now, this is a lengthy but limited feature that eventually ends, Infinite Shadow Wars, which has no release date yet, will make that back and forth never-ending for players who just can't get enough of the nemesis system.

The Young Han Solo Movie Gets An Official Title

Taking a cue from other recent blockbuster releases like Logan, Disney kept things simple with the recently revealed title of the Han Solo Star Wars movie. The movie is titled Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Director Ron Howard revealed the official title for the film in a video on Twitter today. The film just wrapped production, so Howard thanks the cast and crew before cheekily asking someone offscreen, "Can we even say the name of the movie?" The familiar giant furry arms of a Wookie then reach in frame and hand Howard a sign with the title written in the signature Star Wars font.

Hey #Twitterville we just wrapped production so here's a special message #StarWars pic.twitter.com/8QJqN5BGxr

2K Predicts The 2017-2018 NBA Season With Its Season Sim

The 2017-2018 NBA season kicks off tomorrow, October 17, with reigning champions the Golden State Warrior taking on the Houston Rockets. For the past couple years 2K, like every NBA 2K fan, has run full season simulations, fun and often unpredictable exercises in stats and skill. Today 2K puts out its predictions for the upcoming season based on their simulation results and basketball fans might find some surprises.

A lot of big trades happened over the past few months and many of those pay off big in 2K's season simulation. The Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets benefit the most, with Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward pushing the Celtics to the championship finals and Chris Paul dishing out enough assists to bring the Rockets to the Western Conference Finals.

Other teams had more disappointing showings in 2K's season. Even with the added power of Carmelo Anthony and Paul George, the Oklahoma City Thunder couldn't make it to the Western Conference Finals. Russell Westbrook came away with the MVP award again, but it wasn't enough to get the Thunder a championship.
