The Avengers Do Whatever It Takes In New Endgame Trailer

Avengers: Endgame is rapidly approaching its April 26 release and Captain Marvel is already a success, which means it's time to shift our attention toward the long-awaited finale. Marvel has released a new trailer for the film that shows the newly slimmed-down team donning some snazzy white suits (teased in these Lego sets last week) to figure out how to bring back who was lost.

We get to see the newly christened Captain Marvel making an appearance and Ant-Man learning what happened while he was away. With just a little over a month to go, this will surely only whet your appetite, but we'll take what we can get.

You can click here to watch the original trailer for the movie released in December.

The Creators Of Left 4 Dead Announce Back 4 Blood

There are no screenshots or trailers yet, unfortunately, but the studio behind Evolve that is made of the creative minds behind Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive today to make a cooperative zombie shooter called Back 4 Blood.

The name, Back 4 Blood is an obvious callout to the studios' previous work. In the press release for the game, co-founder and design director Chris Ashton is quoted saying, “It’s hard to overstate what an awesome opportunity this is. We get to return to a genre that was born in our studio with over ten years of additional experience and zombie ideas racked up in our brains.” Regarding whether or not this is Left 4 Dead 3, Turtle Rock's community manager writes, "No. Back 4 Blood is our own brand new, original IP. You’ll be able to shoot up a lot of zombies like in Left 4 Dead, but there’s a whole lot of new stuff in Back 4 Blood which makes it unique."

According to the game's FAQ page, it is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point, it will have a campaign and PvP, it's not a battle royale, and pricing has not been decided yet. Turtle Rock's community manager writes, "We haven’t locked down a price point yet, but the game will be a premium, AAA title."

Microsoft Bringing Xbox Live To iOS And Android, Enhancing Its Game Creation Ecosystem For All Devs

Microsoft is enabling developers of mobile games to use Xbox Live features thanks to new mobile SDKs. The news arrives as a part of Microsoft's initiative to empower game developers on whichever platform they choose to create on. This confirms half of a report from February that said Xbox Live is coming to mobile platforms as well as Switch.

When mobile developers choose to create a game with Xbox Live, they are able to choose à la carte from features like Achievements, Gamerscore, Clubs, friends list, family settings, and more. Since this initiative is created with the idea of bridging gaps between platforms, Microsoft says that Achievements earned on mobile Xbox Live-enabled mobile titles will fold into players' overall Xbox Gamerscore.

When asked about the reports of Xbox Live coming to Nintendo Switch, or even the potential for it ever coming to PlayStation, Microsoft talked about its continued commitment to collaborating with other platform holders and uniting gamers across the world regardless of their device of choosing, but was unable to make any announcements. Along those same lines, Microsoft doubled down that Project xCloud's mission is bring Xbox's console gaming content to other devices regardless of their computing power via streaming. Public trials of the service will begin later this year.

Turn-Based RPG Battle Chasers: Nightwar Is Heading To Mobile

After it's release in 2017 for PC, Xbox, and PS4, Battle Chasers: Nightwar eventually found its way to Switch. Now, almost two years later the game from former Darksiders team members is coming to mobile devices.

We generally liked the game when we reviewed it, and even thought it was unfortunately overlooked that year. With a turn-based battling system reminiscent of some classic Final Fantasy titles, it seems like a great fit for your phone. There is no word on a specific release date for the port, but the trailer promises it is coming soon. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer below.

Dwarf Fortress Coming To Steam With Actual Graphics

Dwarf Fortress Coming To Steam With Actual Graphics

You might have only heard of Dwarf Fortress for its reputation as an inscrutable piece of gaming lore that is as difficult to play as it is to understand on a basic level. Its fans are the most dedicated in the world, creating worlds out of play sessions and entire lives out of its emergent narrative. It's also pretty likely that, either because of those reputation or the side-effect of not many people talking about it, you probably have not played it. While that changes now! Well, that time is sometime down the line, but relatively speaking, it's now.

Dwarf Fortress will be coming to Steam and itch.io, a fairly massive change for the nearly 20-year project. The game is, and always has been, developed by a pair of developers that make up Bay 12 Games. Tarn Adams and Zach Adams started working on Dwarf Fortress in 2003 and have been steadily improving it without shaking any of its foundations for the past two decades. The game would frequently get patch notes like "Stopped vampires from pinning their crimes on babies and children" and "Adjusted the value of bees."

Office Life Horror Game Yuppie Psycho Releases In April

You might not be familiar with indie horror game Yuppie Psycho, but the scary little pixel art title will be landing on Steam in about a month, ready to make going into the office every day that much scarier.

The game was first announced in 2016, then got some console versions announced last year, but has been pretty quiet for a little while now. The game's designer started developing the game after leaving his corporate job and wanting to express the hellishness that is working for the man with literal hellishness.

You can check out the trailer below to get a better idea for what Yuppie Psycho is all about.

Gearbox Teasing Another Game Reveal For PAX

Gearbox has been teasing for a little while to expect reveals at their PAX East panel at the end of this month, going so far as to tease what looks to be some sort of Borderlands-related announcement, it looks like the developer/publisher is also bringing some other announcements with them to the show.

In a tweet posted today, Gearbox is teasing something a little bit more sci-fi that definitely doesn't look like Borderlands in either genre or style.
