Watch 20 Minutes Of Unedited Halo 5: Guardians Warzone Gameplay

Warzone is Halo 5's newest multiplayer pillar, offering large battles with A.I. opponents jumping into the mix, and we have a uncut video of a full match.

You can check out the video below, which is totally unedited. You will see the loading screens as well as the intermittent successes and frequent undeniable failures of my first time playing the mode. I was confused at times, confident at others, and deadliest when I got my hands on a rocket launcher. Please be nice in the comments, and enjoy the full playthrough.

Hands-on With Ubisoft's New IP, For Honor

Hands-on With Ubisoft's New IP, For Honor

Ubisoft announced its brand new game, For Honor, at its E3 press conference and we played it to see how it works.

If you haven't seen the trailers, For Honor features an alternate history take on battles between knights, vikings, and samurai. The playable demo at E3 only showcased knight faction character, the Warden. This jack-of-all-trades uses a two-handed longsword in battle, featuring a balance of attack, defense, and speed.

What separates For Honor from the pack of massive army action titles like Dynasty Warriors is the unique "Art of Battle" combat system. Players hold the left trigger to lock onto other warriors and bring up a guide for one of three stances. A flick of the right stick jumps between a left, right, or high stance. If you match a stance to and enemy attack from the same direction, your character will block it. On the other hand, you want to change stances and attack quickly (R1) or heavily (R2) against an opponent who isn't currently posing in a way that matches you current slash. This results in combat that's not just a competition in who can mash the buttons the fastest. Every battle involves a rock-paper-scissors evaluation of your opponent for every moment of the battle until one of you falls.

Seen At E3 2015

It's E3 time again, which means a lot of structures are being erected in honor of the industry's most exciting video games, and we took pictures of them.

We will surely become intimately familiar with these balloons when we get our hands on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain later this year. The blurry man, however? We will never learn his identity.

The booth is structured to look like the Mother Base structure you will soon be building in the game.

Destiny: The Taken King Story And Gameplay Details Emerge From The Darkness

about X hours ago from

Yesterday, Bungie officially pulled back the curtain on the long-rumored The Taken King expansion. Today brings a new vidoc with all sorts of details about what we can expect.

Storywise, we learn that guardians start out by exploring a Cabal base on Phobos, a moon of Mars. There, they learn that the menacing Cabal are terrified, and fleeing from Oryx and his Taken army. The Taken use roughly similar models to existing enemy creatures, because they are aliens that have been corrupted by Oryx’s power. However, the Taken have new animations, behaviors, and seemingly new attack patterns that change up the feel of the combat.

Players also visit Oryx’s Dreadnaught, a whole new game area that seems to be on the scale of one of the game’s existing areas, like Earth or Venus. While it’s not entirely clear how large the Dreadnaught is, the video clearly shows a point where one of the Guardians pulls up his status screen, and we see he is in the “Hull Breach” section of the Dreadnaught, implying there are multiple other areas within the massive ship to explore.
