GameInformer Feature We've got a Blog Herding heavy on community responses this week, which is fantastic!
Community Blogs For September 15 – September 21:
Top 10 Boss Battle Themes I still hum Final Fantasy VII boss battle music to myself, so of course I enjoyed Refle's list of boss battle themes that get the heart thumping just before you start chucking fireballs and slinging steel.

Duke Nukem 3D 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour sure is a mouthful of a title huh? It's also pretty fun. Nukem expert Jeff Cork and I checked out some of the footage I recorded of the game during my time with it at PAX West, with Jeff giving his thoughts about the series as a whole.

Much like the zombie creatures Resident Evil is known for, we can't seem to rid ourselves of former Game Informer editor turned Capcom associate brand manager, Tim Turi. He tries to leave and we think he's gone, but suddenly he, and his unquenchable desire to play Resident Evil while others watch, comes back to life.
We embrace this kind of reanimation though, and were happy to make Tim play through Resident Evil 4 in its entirety in order to remind everyone that that game has found yet another set of platforms on which to exist – the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Join us as we reminisce about one of the best games on GameCube (and later PlayStation 2, then PC, then Wii, then Zeebo then Xbox 360, then PlayStation 3, and then iOS and Android), pressure Tim to tell us more about Resident Evil 7, and bring in different editors to push against the Los Ganados threat. Above, you can watch a trailer teasing what's to come, and below you can watch the latest episode of our playthrough. We'll be posting new episodes on Sundays and Wednesdays until we finish the game, so stay tuned!

GameInformer Feature Booker DeWitt is falling.
He’s taken a high dive off a platform and is spinning now – his shotgun unable to save him from gravity. He plummets toward the ground, shrouded by miles upon miles of blue sky and cloud. Luckily, a rail appears just in the nick of time and he throws himself toward it, clamping onto the bars of metal with his handy skyhook. He’s righted himself. He is in control again.
So he thinks.

GameInformer Feature Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the most anticipated games to release next year, but it can be hard to get a sense of what a game will actually be like until you play it in its entirely. Until then, you only have small glimpses of a game through trailers, new reveals, and developer interviews to get a sense of its scope and ambition. Not having some lingering questions or concerns is difficult. We took some time while we were at Guerrrilla Games in Amsterdam to get some more solid answers to assuage our biggest fears.

Destiny: Rise of Iron is this week's big science-fiction release. If you are looking for a verdict on it, you'll have to wait a few days; we've just gotten our hands on it, and Matt Miller is currently putting it through its paces for his review. However, if you want to know more about it right now, you can read our extensive cover story content from a couple of months ago, or better yet, watch us play through all of Rise of Iron in a live stream, starting today at 4 p.m. CT.
Rise of Iron delves into the history of the mysterious Iron Lords – the legendary heroes who have been hinted at for the last two years of the game's release – and sets players on the path to inheriting that legacy. Along the way, Guardians can expect to encounter a new raid, quests, and tons weapons, armor, and artifacts to collect, along with new competitive gameplay, ranging from newly available private matches to the arrival of Supremacy mode.
I know Forza Horizon 3 is as far removed from science fiction as can be, but Mass Effect fans are making me feel at home with this review. Here's my newest ride, courtesy of a talented artist who uploaded this N7 decal. The Forza marketplace is already loaded with cool sci-fi rides.

Virginia, a first-person narrative adventure game where you play a recent FBI graduate on a missing persons case in a small town, is shaping up to be one of 2016's most interesting and alluring adventure titles. We got some time with co-creator Jonathan Burroughs, who worked for EA and Rare before going on to form indie developer Variable State with Terry Kenny. Jonathan and I talked about the game's Twin Peaks inspirations as well as the struggle to develop Virginia over the past two years.
What inspired you to make Virginia?
