Inside Battlefield 1's Destruction, Nostalgia, And Unique Gameplay Moments

One of the biggest games of E3 2016 so far has been DICE's Battlefield 1. Bringing players back to the unique setting of World War 1, some fans out there might be wondering what type of unique "Battlefield moments" will be generated with the new tools of destruction at play. In a busy room at E3 2016, we spoke with Battlefield 1's senior producer Aleksander Grøndal about the game.

Watch the interview below to learn why the game reminds Grøndal of Battlefield 1942 and details the destruction possible on multiplayer maps.

10 Things We Learned About Relic's New Entry In The Series

Last month, Sega and Relic unveiled Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War III with a flashy cinematic trailer that focused on the ongoing war between the Imperium, Orks, and Eldar. The trailer, while enticing, didn’t reveal any gameplay or discuss much about Relic’s vision for its new real-time strategy title. Thankfully, Sega and Relic held an event to reveal more about the ins and outs of the game. Here’s a rundown of the information to give you a better idea of what to expect from Dawn of War III.

Dawn of War III is coming to PC, but no release date has been set.

See Bethesda’s Full E3 2016 Showcase

E3 got under way yesterday as some of the biggest third-party publishers began to show off what they have in store in the coming months. Some of the most exciting news came out of an evening event hosted by Bethesda, in which the studio showcased a wide array of game products and updates on the way to its fans.

Kyle Hilliard and I sat down to discuss the Bethesda showcase, including a pre-show conversation detailing rumors and hopes for the show, and an extensive post-show analysis of what we had just seen. If you missed the event, or you just want to watch select portions again, we’ve included the full stream below. You can see an extensive demo of the newly announced Quake Champions, learn about Bethesda’s forays into VR, gather details on the Skyrim remaster coming this fall, and watch an exhaustive (and amazing) demo of Dishonored 2., among several other announcements.

One of the unexpected pieces of news that surfaced this week at E3 is the surprisingly close release of Inside, the new game from the creators of Limbo. We've had a chance to play the game, and decided to sample of few of the game's mechanics and locations while actively avoiding its key, spoilable moments.

Jade Raymond Outlines EA's Star Wars Release Schedule, Teases Upcoming Titles

At today's EA Play press conference, Jade Raymond, the founder of EA's Motive Studios, took to the stage to give a general outline of EA's plans for upcoming Star Wars games. We didn't learn the name of any new titles, but we did get a brief snapshot of the studios working on the projects. I sat down with Raymond for a few minutes following the press conference to discuss EA's plans and to get some clarity about what is coming next. Raymond wouldn't reveal too much, but she also didn't deny certain assumptions.

Our E3 Walking Guide For Dummies

about X hours ago from

Ahh, E3. It's that time when companies dazzle the public with their latest and greatest gaming offerings, as well as a bunch of regrettable nonsense. If you've attended, you also know that the show floors are crowded and tricky to navigate. Fortunately for you, we've drafted a special guide to show you the most efficient path through each of the two main halls. It also provides a super-informative idea of what you can expect to see from the biggest booths.

If you've already drafted a schedule of your own, great job. Otherwise, feel free to superimpose a dotted line on the floor and start walking. Our map is not only 100-percent accurate and to scale, it's also absolutely serious.
