South Park writers Matt Parker and Trey Stone haven't ever really shied away from social commentary (president Donald Trump notwithstanding) and that doesn't look like it's changing with the upcoming South Park: The Fractured but Whole. When creating your character in the make-believe superhero game, Eurogamer discovered that the darker the skin tone you choose, the more the difficulty level ramps up. "Don't worry, this doesn't affect combat, just every other aspect of your life," perpetual jerk Eric Cartman says in voiceover.

Sure, they probably chose Taiwan as a hub teams playing in Overwatch's far-ranging Pacific championship, but the question remained: Where was the arena on Blizzard's home turf? At long last, the company has revealed it's been building one in the backyard of its headquarters. On October 7th, the Blizzard Arena Los Angeles will open its doors for its first event: The Overwatch Contenders' first season playoffs.

George Orwell pretty much invented the dystopian future genre, with novels like 1984 and Animal Farm still finding relevance and new readers today. The latter novel, however, is set to become an indie video game. The team includes gaming veterans who have worked on I Am Bread, Fable, The Witcher 3, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, and will have the support of George Orwell's estate. "Our our motley crew of multi-award winning game creators came together from various companies to create this one game together," developer Imre Jele said in an email to Engadget.
